Wendy went above and beyond to make sure our group had all the information we needed for international travel. She responded to all questions and concerns very quickly and made sure to communicate with us regularly throughout the planning of our trip. She was working with all of us being from different parts of the US meeting up at the resort and everything worked out so perfectly! It really was a true “Instagram dream vacation” for our whole group!

How lucky we were that a friend highly recommended Wendy, and to be able to plan 2 of our trips with her. This gal goes above and beyond to please her clients.
Our second cruise just this past October to the Meditteranean we were blessed to get to meet her and her husband, her friends and clients! From start to finish Wendy booked our cruise with us, never letting us down and always with a cheery attitude,and no matter what time of the day or night, or how many questions we asked, she was always there!! While on the cruise I ran out of hairspray , and while she was on an excursion in Barcelona, she found a store and purchased a can for me?? Who does that?? Helped pivot an originally planned trip in the bes

Wendy Barry was recommended to my husband and I by local friends when we wanted to plan a land-side trip to the Tuscany region of Italy in early 2024 in celebration of our 50th wedding anniversary. We were looking to design a trip with a hired guide. Wendy worked with a tour company in Italy to develop an itinerary that met our expectations. Unfortunately, due to unforeseen health issues causing temporary physical limitations, we had to put that trip on hold. Wendy, not wanting the anniversary travel plans to be completely put on hold, approached us with the idea of a 10-day cruise to the Mexican Riviera initiating during the Christmas holidays. Making the Planning a Pleasure

I met Wendy several years ago when we were fellow passengers on a Mediterranean cruise and I learned that she was not only an avid traveler but also operates a travel agency, both in her native Perth, Australia, and in her adopted home, Chicago. We kept in touch after that cruise, and a year ago she let me know about a cruise with an affordable single supplement fare. From the fare onward, she handled everything, including keeping me updated on the latest COVID protocols and testing policy. Over the next 24 months,I have three more cruises - the Greek Isles, the UK, and French Polynesia - booked through Wendy. She compares cruise lines for the itineraries, dates ,prices, and special features that best fit my plans. We communicate by email and by phone, and she is always available to answer my questions and concerns. Cruising, of course, is always a pleasure, and Wendy makes planning the cruise pleasurable.

A Cherished Holiday

Wendy is truly of the kindest people on the planet. She's also incredibly skilled at making your dream vacation happen. She's knowledgeable about everything from room size on cruise ships to which side of the hotel has the best view to the most reliable car services and affordable flights and everything in-between. She's prompt, thorough, thoughtful, and really cares about making sure every detail of your trip is the best it can be. With her help, my ninety-three-year old dad and I planned a cruise through the Mediterranean that I will always treasure. She even sent chocolate-covered strawberries to our room on the first night. I wish Wendy could tend to everything in my life. Can't recommend her enough!

Wendy is an absolute pleasure to work with! She made our daughter's 4th birthday celebration ay Disney a breeze. She has not only found us amazing deals but has also got us bonus passes we were not even aware of! Even made note to the concierge to remember to give us a birthday button:) Her attention to detail and needs are top notch and she even offers post vacation reimbursement fee!Will definitely use her for future trips and adventures!

Great even when things don't go right!

Wendy helped me book a 14-day Southern Caribbean cruise on Holland America. Wendy was friendly and attentive during the booking process. After the trip was booked, the cruise line had to shorten the trip. The cruise line offered us several option. Wendy saved us hours of time dealing with the rebooking!

Looking Forward to our First Cruise in 30 Years

I was looking for help with booking a cruise for my 30th wedding anniversary and found Wendy's travel agency, Little Gypsy Travel while searching on-line. I haven't been on a cruise 30 years, so I had no idea what to look for.
I reached out and she responded almost immediately, and once she understood what I wanted she presented 3 options to choose from and answered all my questions including sharing her own experiences with the cruise-lines, again almost immediately (no matter what hour of the night).
Once we selected the cruise, she then kept looking into options was able to get us upgraded at even less cost! We are very excited to going on our trip in December.
