About Me

The beautiful Bondi Beach!
The beautiful Bondi Beach!

My journey through Australia was a sensory overload, featuring vibrant landscapes, unique wildlife, and incredible hospitality. I began my adventure in the gorgeous metropolis of Sydney, where iconic landmarks like the Sydney Opera House and the Harbour Bridge greeted me. The city's vibrant energy was infectious, and I found myself drawn to the beautiful beaches, and diverse cultural scene. One of the highlights of my time in Sydney was exploring the iconic Bondi Beach. With its golden sands, crystal-clear waters, and beach culture, it was easy to see why it's a beloved destination for both locals and tourists. I spent many hours swimming, surfing, and simply soaking up the atmosphere.

From Sydney, I ventured south to Melbourne, a city that offered a stark contrast to its northern counterpart. Melbourne is filled with quirky cafes, boutique shops, and street art. It provided a more intimate and bohemian experience. I wandered through the Royal Botanic Gardens, explored the vibrant arts scene at Federation Square, and indulged in the city's renowned coffee culture. I mean, i'm a Seattlite, so coffee is our thing, right?

My Australian adventure took me next to the stunning island state of Tasmania, a place of rugged beauty and unspoiled wilderness. I embarked on a scenic drive through Freycinet National Park, where I was greeted by breathtaking vistas of towering granite peaks, pristine beaches, and turquoise waters. I hiked to Wineglass Bay, a secluded cove renowned for its perfect crescent shape, and marveled at the natural beauty that surrounded me.In Hobart, the state capital, I explored the historic Salamanca Market, a bustling hub of local artisans, farmers, and street performers. I indulged in fresh Tasmanian produce, sampled local wines, and discovered unique souvenirs to bring home.

No trip to Australia would be complete without experiencing the Great Barrier Reef, one of the world's most incredible natural wonders. So that's where i ended my trip. I embarked on a boat tour from Cairns and was awestruck by the vibrant colors and diverse marine life. Snorkeling among the coral reefs, I encountered countless species of fish, turtles, and even a graceful manta ray. The Great Barrier Reef was a true underwater paradise, a testament to the beauty and fragility of our planet's ecosystems.

As I reflected on my Australian adventure, I realized how much Australia had captured my heart and soul. I left the country with a newfound appreciation for its natural beauty, its vibrant culture, and its friendly people. My journey Down Under was truly unforgettable, and I can't wait to return and explore even more of this amazing country.

HIRE AN EXPERT!
Reviewed By Kimberly L - SEATTLE | Traveled to Greece ~ Europe
This summer, I hired a travel agent for the first time in my life, and learned one thing: I will NEVER book another trip by myself. Working with Mike Salvadore was quick, easy, completely painless, and absolutely fabulous! When I called Mike, I was extremely far behind on my travel plans-I was simply stuck. I was traveling to a country that I'd never visited, and I didn't know where to begin.

Mike met with me for a short period of time, and asked me questions about the types of things that my family likes to do on vacation, as well as budget and timing. The next thing I knew, Mike & his team presented a detailed presentation of our trip. This was not an easy trip to book. The trip included flights to several island locations, cars to inland destinations, and local-flavor excursions. One great surprise was the wondrful private tour guide that took us to see the ruins in Delphi and Olympia. Mike also found the MOST fabulous hotels, And most importantly, it was all EASY !
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
