Sonoran Preserve at McDowell Mountains Scottsdale
I am a native of Belgium, a country that has its fair share of annual rain fall but I have been living in the beautiful city of Scottsdale, AZ, which I now consider my forever home. I have been here for about 5 years and have simply fallen in love with the Sonoran Desert and all its beauty. Needless to say living in the Southwestern state of Arizona is far different from growing up in a small town in Belgium :)
What expansive and diverse landscapes we have here! Of course everyone knows about the Grand Canyon! A place everyone should see at least once in a lifetime!
I have taken numerous road trips, even as a single female, all the way to Monument Valley. Of course road trips are best with great friends or with my husband. Organizing memorable vacations in the Southwest is something I really enjoy. I have personally visited and created memorable vacations in NV, AZ, UT and NM several times.
Many moons ago, I worked as a Tour Director and most of our tours started out in the city of Las Vegas, took us throughout the Southwest and ended up in California. I have seen quite a lot of Vegas, San Francisco and everything in between. One personal favorite is Death Valley NP!
It's important to have enough time to enjoy the Southwest and of course there can also be some spa pampering or playing golf in one of our beautiful resorts in Scottsdale! The sky is the limited here! Sometimes literally as hot air ballooning is also a favorite tourist activity.
So come on out to the Southwest and hone some of your cowgirl or cowboy skils!

Ann fielded my *many* questions quickly and with expertise - and always with an upbeat and positive attitude. She let me know what was possible and what wasn't - my family has a unique set of (great!) circumstances that makes planning a trip particularly challenging - and Ann worked within our constraints to send us on a vacation that was absolutely what we were looking for. She did not consider her job done when we were booked - she checked in on us to ensure we had everything we needed up to our journey's start, and checked in with us after, to ensure everything was as it should have been. Dream vacation in Cambodia

We contacted Daily Travel Dose to provide us with a two-week customized tour of Cambodia for a family of 4 (with 2 teenagers). We could not have been more pleased with the result. From day one, Ann Bishop listened to our requests and wishes, made recommendations based on her own experiences, and quickly put together a draft of a proposed itinerary. After several reviews, we settled on an incredible tour at an amazing price point. Ann is a consistently fantastic travel concierge. This was the 2nd trip we went on through Ann - and I am 100% certain we will work with her again.
We have complex travel needs that would probably turn a less customer-focused professional off. Ann does not back down from a challenge, and embraced working with us! She worked directly with the property to advocate for us on many levels - taking away all stress from us in planning this trip.
Going to Disney and Universal with 3 kids is a big deal (logistically, financially, emotionally). Ann was absolutely fluent in all aspects of visiting both franchises, and used her expertise to make sure we optimized our time there, and got the most out of our visit. She gave us insider tips and went above and beyond in researching every aspect of what we wanted to do with our kids.
Ann did not consider her work done, once we were booked. She checked in before and on arrival - and followed up after. A true professional!

We're at a point in our travel lives where we simply start with Ann - we are repeat customers who are always so happy with our decision to entrust Ann with our travel plans! This has been true for family trips, as well as couples-only trips.
We wanted to take a US-based celebratory, "grown up", just-us-as a couple trip, and Ann served up many options for us. She truly listened to us regarding our priorities, and was so flexible and creative. She's a true thought partner!

She helped us to think through the kind of trip and experiences we wanted including types of places we wanted to stay (hotel, chateau, etc). Ann thoroughly researched options, past reviews, costs and much more before presenting to us. She created a very useful itinerary with all of our documents, tickets, and instruction in one place. That became our daily planner and was an outstanding resource.

An Unforgettable 50th in Grand Cayman

Ann had a tall task coordinating my 50th Birthday with 10 of our friends. She did an amazing job finding a perfect hotel, with great amenities and coordinating our water excursion and dinner celebrations! She had great recommendations and personal connections to property managers that allowed for the at extra personal touch when we were in Grand Cayman. Ann went above and beyond to have a a perfect celebratory birthday cake (gluten free!) and a bottle of chilled champagne.

Dream trip to Italy

Ann, our advisor at Daily Travel Dose, was awesome! Right from the start we knew she was paying attention to what we wanted for this trip. She collaborated with a local agent to ensure we were booked in the types of hotels we wanted and had the best deals for local activities. Ann was in contact with the local hotel concierges and let them know of early or late arrivals and special needs. At one location, she told hotel staff that we were celebrating a birthday and they brought us a little cake.
We loved that Ann checked in on our arrival to Italy and helped us find our driver. From there she checked in regularly to make sure we were happy with accommodations and activities. We felt that Ann was available throughout our trip and we could call on her or the local agent with questions and last minute changes.
Finally, Ann checked in one more time to welcome us home. Her attention to detail and staying with us, in spirit, through the whole trip made this a lovely, personal experience

Memories that will last a lifetime

When I thought she could not possibly exceed our expectations after our two previous trips organized by Daily Travel Dose, Ann proved me wrong. Joining forces with a local tour operator, Ann crafted a safari trip to Tanzania that exceeded our wildest dreams and became the trip of a lifetime. A combination of cultural experiences, social awareness, and safaris proved the perfect blend to create lifelong memories for my two children and me. We visited the endless prairies of the Serengeti, Tarangire, and the Ngorongoro Crater to view the Big Five, the wildebeest migration, and countless other beautiful animals. We learned from and danced with the Hadzabe tribe and Masai warriors, and helped practice English in a local school. Fabulous Honeymoon and Easiest Trip Ever Planned

Ann was extremely helpful, and created the best honeymoon experience we could’ve only dreamed about. She was patient, she listed to what we wanted and made it work for our budget. She was honest in expectations and made suggestions from her own experiences. She ensured that are desirable trip was secured. She provided finalized itinerary that was mailed to us and included easy details to follow leaving nothing out. She ensured that during our trip, we arrived as planned and that all was already taken care of each step of the way. Ann was the first travel agent either of us have used and we will never do it without her again. I recommend and tell everyone about her. How she saved us money, ensured our safety, and that our dream of a fabulous honeymoon came true!!! We felt safe the entire trip and lucky to have her before during and after our trip. She even threw in sweet treats, gifts and bonus excursions during our trip. We love Ann!!

Ann did a fabulous job finding us "needle in a haystack" tickets to go home and see family over Christmas. It was extremely expensive trying to book it myself and Ann was able to get the cost down considerably. She kept us up to date on the process along the way and made sure the tickets were what we wanted. It was very easy working with her and I highly recommend her to help with your travel needs!

25th Wedding Anniversary Trip of a Lifetime

Although my wife and I have travelled all over the world, I had never used a travel agent before. However, for our 25th wedding anniversary trip, I wanted some help and expertise in making it the best trip possible. I wanted to go to French Polynesia and looked for an expert for that destination. Divine intervention led me to Ann and the rest is history. Ann helped plan the trip of a lifetime for us in Bora Bora. I told her what I was looking for, and she gave expert advice on where to stay and what to do. I loved that she stayed in contact with us all the way through the trip, not only with planning, but through departure and return. In fact, we weren't going to make the plane to Tahiti due to a travel delay, but Ann found a way to contact the pilot of the plane to ask if he would hold if for as long as possible for us to get on...and we made it! This is the level of care Ann provides her clients. You will not find a better agent to work with than Ann. 5 stars all the wa

Ann provided a variety of options for us to choose from for our trip based on our preference for what kind of travel experience we wanted which allowed us to have a fantastic and relaxing trip! She listened to our input and really kept it in mind. She also provided a detailed itinerary from Scottsdale to Sedona to the Grand Canyon and back, with many sights to see and restaurant options which saved us time on guessing. Her input was very thorough and enthusiastic which got us excited about our trip!!

A Trip Postponed

We originally planned a trip to Arizona during March of 2020. Ann proposed an amazing itinerary and arranged all the bookings. Due to the Covid pandemic, we had to postpone our trip. Ann managed to get full refunds of all our planned activities in a timely manner.
Ann rebooked everything for March 2021 and we couldn't have been more pleased. Arizona was wonderful, and Ann's proposed itinerary proved to be the perfect balance between sightseeing and relaxing!

Ann is a phenomenal resource, and absolutely our go-to for trip planning (this is the third trip she has helped us plan!!). She knows her stuff - and does a great job keeping me on track, which is no small task. I love to travel, but get stuck in the details if I try to go it alone.
