I first contact Shane when I was planning my wedding. I was beyond stressed and over whelmed with the wedding and then remembered we needed a honey moon, I told Shane what I was looking for and he gave me a couple options. Shane was very responsive to my questions, and provided the info I needed to make our decision about booking our trip. He was especially helpful in explaining the resort's credit system and how that would work with various tours/excursions we wanted and advised us to make tour reservations ahead of time --- which was exactly right! Once at the resort, we learned it was more difficult to book at the times we wanted. We were planning a wedding on the beach, and since he had seen the venues, it eased my mind regarding what the resort actually provided.

We used Shane to schedule a vacation and went to an all-inclusive based on his recommendation. We figured since he's taken the time to get his certification with travel resorts and companies that offer them, he must take his job seriously. The resort he recommended was everything he said it was. He knew every minute detail about it and gave us the dos and don'ts up front. He's a wealth of knowledge. We had a couple snafus with the airline through no fault of his, but when he got home, we stopped in to say hi and tell him how much fun we had. We mentioned the snafus, he apologized for them, took the ball and went running with it. He contacted the airline on our behalf and got us credits towards another flight. It was no easy task, but he stayed on it and really went the extra mile. We've booked another trip for this summer already and are currently discussing a European vacation for next year with him. Won't use anybody else.

I emailed Shane, told him about what I wanted to spend, I gave him a few different sets of dates and told him we wanted the beach. I told him it didn't have to be Mexico but Mexico would be good. The same evening (after office hours) he replied with a few different choices. When you finally decide to take the next step and actually start planning, you are very grateful to that fast of response! We reviewed the locations, googled them, looked up info about them and had a hard choice about which one to choose. I asked Shane a several questions, locations, what the differences were in the locations, etc. Shane was very helpful. In the end we LOVED our 8 night stay at Sandos Playacar Beach Resort in Playa del Carmen, Mexico. From my first email, the payments, the transportation to our return flight home, we have a VERY POSITIVE experience! Even a few days before our trip I had emailed Shane asking how do we cancel, our son might have surgery. Since we had purchased trip insurance we could cancel up until our flight was to leave without any worries. He told me he would be in the office to just give him a call and he would start the refund process. Obviously we were able to go on our trip but it was comforting to know if needed, help was just a phone call or email away! We really appreciate Shane being so knowledgable from the very beginning. Shane is an excellent travel gent! HE planned a wonderful cruise to the Panama Canal for us. When weather delayed our plane he called us at the airport with alternate plans even before the airline announced the delay. Shane also checked with uss when we were back home to make sure everything went well and helped us get a refund on a missed hotel reservation.
