Just finished a Carnival Journeys Cruise. It was a 29 day reposition cruse aboard the Carnival Luminosa, Brisbane/Japan/Alaska/Seattle. The Luminosa is a smaller, older ship in the carnival fleet. We really appreciated the help we received from Kristen including doing some research on the ship. She notified us about some bad reviews and encouraged us to check it out before boooking. We decided to go ahead and book with our eyes open and planning for lots of down time. We were happily surprised. The ship while older is beautifully kept up. The Captain and crew were simply amazing and made us all feel a part of their family. While we took games and books, we didn’t really use them as the crew had so many fun activities, lectures and shows. We would do this cruise again in a heartbeat and will continue to use Kristin as we really appreciated that she was concerned for our comfort and happiness not just booking another cruise.
