I was born in 1952 and my hometown is Strongsville, Ohio moving their in 1957. I graduated in 1970 from Strongsville High school.
I attended Georgetown College where I was a 4-year letterman in football and a member of Kappa Alpha. I served as the Vice President of my order my Junior year. I graduated in 1974 with a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Business Administration.
After graduation I lived in the Toledo area and worked for Procter and Gamble in Sales in Marketing starting in the Case Food division and spending 25 years in the Health and Beauty division.
I am married with 2 sons and 3 grandchildren to Joan who serves as our assistant Tour Director.
I started Telmanik Travel & Tours upon my retirement from Procter and Gamble in June of 2007 while in Toledo.
In 2010 we moved to Ft Mill SC and in 2015 Wilmington N C.

My husband and I completely enjoyed our travels with Dennis and Joan Telmanik to South Africa, Zimbabwe and Botswana. We were very impressed how seamlessly everything went especially given the amount of travel on this particular trip. We would both travel gain with Telmanik Tours.

Africa—A trip of a lifetime—amazing. Lodging, food, tour guides, etc, were exceptional. I have been on three trips with Telmanik and all have been top of the line. Dennis and Joan were great, always there to help and answer questions, always kept the group informed. Would highly recommend.

The best trip of our lives

My husband and I had never traveled on a group trip. Dennis and Joan did a wonderful job of turning a group of strangers into friends. The whole trip was well coordinated they made it look easy. Their knowledge of Africa was amazing. We experienced more in 2 weeks than I could believe. I look forward to doing more group trips with Dennis and Joan.

Extraordinary trip

Dennis and Joan make the perfect team for escorting travelers. They complement each other exquisitely. Dennis’s trips are planned very far in advance So one must plan ahead and wait for the trip to happen! The itinerary is smartly planned with so many things taken into consideration such as downtime to recover from jet lag to providing a varied cultural experience for each country . The groups are small enough to get to know all fellow travelers and Dennis and Joan work hard to provide opportunities to build relationships for a tight friendly environment. Telemanik has become my travel company of choice going forward, making each trip a truly one of a kind, first class experience.
