Lea is absolutely amazing! My husband and I worked with her to plan our honeymoon to Argentina. Right from the first phone call, she understood that we wanted this to be a special trip and thought of little touches to help take it to the next level. I had tons of restrictions because I am a green card holder and not a US citizen. We had an amazing and organized trip to Iceland . Our travel agent was very knowledgable and detail oriented into what do we need to do , where to go , where to eat . She even called us in Iceland to make sure we are confirmed with our night tour for the Northern Light . She created a folder where all the tkts/ vouchers are arranged accordingly . I can’t express how grateful I am to Lea Rufo. She booked my flight to Manila and I was amazed that she went far and beyond her usual duties for me. First, I had mentioned to her how I have been having issues with my feet swelling every time I travel by plane and so she suggested that a seat at the bulk head where there is plenty of legroom just for an additional payment of $80? I wouldn’t have known about that and it really made my flight experience much more comfortable. Secondly, my flight was very late in the evening which got delayed twice and she was kind enough to check on me considering I am in the West Coast and she is in the East coast. My second time with Lea /Globus : I don’t think I can ever find a travel agent as detailed and dedicated as Lea. About three weeks or so before our scheduled departure, she sent printed documents that included lists of self guided walking tours in Lisbon and Madrid which proved to be so helpful when our outbound flight UA64 on 03/18 was cancelled after waiting for over seven hours at Newark Airport. She monitored our flight status and reached me a number of times, twice on conference call with the Globus’ weekend/night customer representative. She stayed up until we got home safely at 4:00 am on Sunday, 3/19. That’s way beyond her duty as a travel agent ! She also made sure that I still remember how to use the GlobusGo app, which I’ve had on my phone since 2020, but vaguely remember how to use. 😅 I found out that not everyone in our tour group had the app on their phones! So on a scale of 1-10, I’d give Lea a double 10! 😊

I have worked with Lea for many years on my corporate travels. She h handles all the details of my flight reservations including airline mileage memberships, seat and meal preferences, emergency contacts, as well as, all my hotel preferences and reservations. On the way to Whitehorse we stopped in the lovely city of Vancouver and also visited Victoria and Butchart garden. Lea was always available and in fact once she called us In Vancouver, at 11 pm DST to make sure we had our passes for our day trip the next day. Lea was amazing in helping put together my bachelorette/30th birthday trip. She helped plan my sister in laws and did such a wonderful job that I decided to use her for my trip as well. As expected she did not disappoint. I didn't want to burden anyone on the trip with having to do bookings, send reminders, etc. and working with Lea helped do just that. She stayed on top of whoever needed a reminder, helped me collect all the information needed, answered all of our questions and gave me pointers when she had her other guests stay at the same resort. She even called me over the weekend to help answer some questions which was not expected but very appreciated. I could not recommend her services enough! Had an amazing time on this trip and always appreciate Lea's guidance and support. The resort locations were beautiful, food was amazing and the locals were friendly and welcoming. I am not much of a beach person, so the fact that we didn't spend much time on or visiting beaches didn't deter me. The resort pools and beachclub excursions were perfect.

Excellent trip, perfect timing! Just before the season begins. Less crowds made it more enjoyable! The 3 day cruise was also great??????

The cruise was just right for me cause I was able to come back to Japan where I was stationed on my first ship way back in 1976. Was able to take the train to Yokosuka and still remembered the apartment where we used to stay with the friends who call ourselves the honcho boys. I was able to show my wife the place where I used to eat yakitori and ramen. Can you believe it still exist and still the best yakitori I’ve eaten and she agreed. The cruise was just right because where we docked it’s always near everything,no need to purchase excursions. I was able to see Korea too which we used to visit during my Navy years. Our agent Leah is very good in what she does. She takes care of you and if ever you’re in doubt about anything just give her a call and she’s got the answer for you. She’s the best,I can’t say no more. Thank you. Leah for taking care of us.

Overall the trip was very good. The lodging was fair with poor response to missing items (for example, the TV never showed up).

We had an unforgettable adventure in Iceland, exploring glaciers, breathtaking waterfalls, the Blue Lagoon, and the Sky Lagoon. We even went snowmobiling and witnessed the magical Northern Lights. It was an incredible experience, all thanks to Lea!
