While talking with Debbie about plans for the summer, I pitched her a wild idea: a short trip to Paris, leaving in a few days. On the spot she found flights and a hotel, all at a price we could afford. The hotel she sent us to was a small place in the 16th Arrondisment, within walking distance of both the Arc de Triomphe and the Eiffel Tower, as well as several excellent cafes just a block away. The hotel staff were helpful and friendly. When there was a problem with the hotel billing (which turned out to be a misunderstanding between Delta and the hotel) Debbie was right on the case, working tirelessly to sort it out. Thanks largely to her efforts everything was resolved satisfactorily. That this trip was a success due entirely to Debbie's ideas and her hard work in implementing them. Full Marks!

It was a cruise which began in Rome with stops in Italian, Greek, and Croatian ports, ending in Venice. She made all the arrangements for two days in Rome and one extra in Venice in addition to the cruise itself. She took care of all transfers for us. She provided a map with personal notations for a walking tour of Rome. Debbie recommended which admission tickets we should get booked in advance and sent a link for us to use in securing these.
