This is the second trip my grandson and I have taken with Danny Genung and his wonderful wife Kristen. I learned more about travel, history, and culture on two trips with Danny than I could ever learn on my own. Our tour guide Paolo also made the experience unforgettable. Danny prepares you from the moment you sign up for one of his trips by giving you information about packing, what to expect on your flights and once you get there the education begins. Every single aspect of our trip is rich in history and he makes it fun and interesting to learn. The trips are planned so well that there is never any stress and you can focus all your time on enjoying your tour. I believe that for my grandson Danny has provided him with experiences that will last a lifetime and has shown him opportunities for his future. Danny is an amazing person and a great tour director/travel agent.

Danny and his wife Kristen booked and led our tour to Africa. Together we climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, visited the Serengeti, the Ngorongoro Crater, Zanzibar and traveled overland to Victoria Falls. The trip was fun, educational and life changing. Danny took care of all of the details so we didn't have to worry about anything but enjoying the adventure. When weather changed the itinerary, he was able to work with G Adventures to upgrade the rest of the trip and we had an amazing time. We have used him on several other occasions with wonderful results.

Mr. G thought of everything. Loved all the information we received from our pre-trip meetings. We felt ready for everything (don't forget to walk, walk, walk as you get ready for your trip). Mr. G covered the history and the touristy stuff. Normandy, Westminster, Belgium chocolate, Belgium waffles, French crepes, cheese, wooden shoes...everything.

This was my first trip with Danny, but definitely not my last. In addition, he is now my go-to travel agent for all my travel needs. I was totally impressed with his attention to every small detail, his knowledge of the locations we were visiting, and guides on how to get around in them. He made sure everyone had what they needed, even when it was not his responsibility (ie Viking river cruise excursion). I can't wait to see what trips he has planned for the future!

My (now) husband and I began our search for a travel agent in December of 2014, as we were to be married in October of 2015, and would be traveling to Europe (for the first time) for our honeymoon. We had never gone through a travel agent before, but as we begun looking at places to stay in Italy and Paris, we quickly learned that a trip like this for the first time is best left to the professionals. We contacted a few travel agents, who were so bad at getting back to us in a timely manner. A couple of our friends who had vacationed in Mexico recommended that we reach out to Danny, as he did a wonderful job planning their honeymoon. We reached out to Danny, and after lightening fast returned emails, and an in depth phone conversation with him, we decided to give him a shot. BEST decision we could have made for our honeymoon. Danny knows all the ends and outs of traveling in Europe (and everywhere else I'm sure) as he is VERY well traveled and has a wide reaching network of travel partners. We had an idea of the order of how we wanted to travel to Rome, Florence, Positano, and Paris, but Danny talked to us about the benefits and drawbacks of doing a trip like this in that order, which we never thought about. After spending time letting Danny know what our vision was for our honeymoon, he gave us a proposal which blew our minds. The proposal included transportation and transfers, day tours, etc. This was perfect, because our honeymoon ended up being effortless, as everything was pre-booked. He also let us know that we should spend time exploring and getting lost, so he didn't schedule tours every single day, which was perfect for our needs! Harr Travel even made restaurant reservations for us at Guy Savoy and Paris, and even made a reservation for us in the Eiffel Tower. Danny was even available to us on our trip, answering calls and emailing responses to a few questions. We will definitely use Danny again for all our vacations!

Our family was planning a trip to Europe that involved multiple itineraries for our adult children. He was exceptionally patient with the details, knowledgeable about destinations, and offered us great advice. We simply could not have done this trip without Danny's help. Danny is a citizen of the world! He has been to all parts of the world several times, which makes for a marvelous experience as he knows the best places to visit, EAT and things to do. His experience gave me peace of mind and instead of debating which places to dine, he already had the best options lined up at the best prices. Between Danny and our guide Paolo, my brain was flooded with so much information. They could answer every question anyone had, and every stop we made or landmark we passed by they had some information about it. They were so helpful, from teaching the kids and adults how to navigate the subways in London, so problems we may encounter on a tour based on past experiences, they were always prepared for all scenarios. I wish I could give Danny 6 stars instead of 5, he was an amazing travel agent and truly formed a bond with all of the students and parents. This trip is so much more than education, he teaches life long lessons that will sit with the students and parents forever.
