Perfect Honeymoon

When we initially contacted Amber, we were just looking around at places that we could potentially go for our honeymoon, as we were kind of clueless and had no idea where to start. I emailed Amber on Friday evening, and by Tuesday evening we had our entire trip booked with her. She asked us several questions as to what was important to us, and then found 15 options in 3 locations with the exact room we would have, the flight times/airlines, what all was included, etc. I was nervous we would have little things pop up that had fallen through cracks but the entire trip went off without a hiccup. Because of Amber, we were able to thoroughly enjoy our honeymoon and not have a single worry in the world. If we take a trip in the future, I wouldn’t trust anyone but her!! Best decision we’ve made!

Our Once In a Lifetime Dream Vacation

We came to Amber knowing we wanted to go to a Caribbean Island, but unsure of which one, as it was very overwhelming looking into it ourselves. We told her our wish list for our vacation. She went through a couple of islands with pros and cons, and sent us home with websites to look through. We decided on Aruba. Our next visit was very smooth. We told her the dates we were interested in and she booked the whole trip right there. We do not travel a lot so this was very helpful.
Our resort was everything we hoped it would be. There was plenty to do on site, but we also took advantage of the many tours offered. We requested an oceanview room and that is exactly what we got. It was gorgeous and just wonderful to walk right out our patio door to the beach.
If we were to travel to the Caribbean again, I would choose a more tropical, rather than desert landscape. The resort areas were beautiful, but the rest of the island was barren.

"One of the best trips of our lives".....is how I would describe our Cancun
vacation in March, 2017. AND, it was all due to the help and professional
guidance of our travel agent, Amber McLaughlin. Though my husband and I have never personally met Amber, our daughter recommended her and what a great recommendation this was. I have since recommended her to the rest of my family who will take this same vacation in December.
Since we have traveled to lots of foreign spots, we were familiar with how traveling works. However, this particular trip was a once-in-a-lifetime adventure for our family of five because Amber was able to remove all the 'pain-in-the-neck' details that we have encountered with other trips. She carefully arranged non-stop flight times while accommodating all of our ages - from 5 - 71. She sent us information for helping us choose the best resort rooms and took care of all the transportation both coming and going. Great gal/great trip.

From the start of the planning process Amber was very friendly to deal with. I was happy to hear a response back in a timely manor with details about options for different resorts in Mexico. I had a large group of people traveling so we had quite a few hurdles to jump and Amber handled them very well. As far as the trip, we had a great time and everyone was impressed with the resort! I've worked with Amber on numerous occasions and she is second to none! She's booked multiple trips to Mexico for my husband and me; a group trip of 14 persons to Mexico; a European trip including both England and Ireland for my Mom and me; and 2 girls' getaways (one to Scottsdale and one to Hawaii)! Amber can do it ALL. And, she does it effortlessly with enthusiasm and a smile.
Every trip I plan includes Amber (and yours should too)! She is spot-on when it comes to thinking of things that I don't account for (what types of activities does everyone like; is everyone the same energy-level; etc.). She is also very cognizant of finding the right price and the right amenities for what I want to do. She makes recommendations for the best sites/hotels/resorts, etc.
Lastly, Amber is really focused on making sure that we have a great time. I can tell that she is passionate about what she does and wants to ensure that we (and every one of her travelers) has an excellent experience

Amber was very helpful from start to finish. After listening to our thoughts and wishes for our family vacation, she was able to provide us with some very different options and helped us make the best choice for our family. We are not seasoned travelers, but Amber made the whole process easy for us. Amber made all the arrangements, booked the flights, resort reservations and included transportation to and from the airport. The entire trip was seamless for our family. When we called back after booking to inquire about an upgrade, she was even able to do so at a discounted price! I know this may not have been her doing, but we still give her all the credit! We've been working exclusively with Amber for a number of years . The most recent trip was a Caribbean cruise that we were supposed to take the 4th week of March 2020. When COVID-19 became an issue and we were within a couple weeks of our vacation, we decided to change our trip from a cruise to a trip that stayed within the U.S. Amber made all of those changes for us: cancelling the cruise, finding 2 more hotels and changing another hotel and car reservation. And then, a week later when we realized that even that trip would not be possible, she promptly made those last-minute cancellations for us. I know that she was doing the same for many other people during that time. We really appreciated her promptness, and she kept us informed every step of the way. Amber is an A+ professional. A big trip made easy.

The experience was a destination wedding. As a close family member I had the privilege of watching the planning (drama, lol) take place on the bride's side, but without being tasked with anything.
The introduction info packet was just enough to get excited about the event and interested in the destination. Similarly the reminders to guests about room choice and booking, airline tickets, and entry requirements were appropriately frequent enough without being nagging.
There was no need for help calls before or during the trip. All played out as as scheduled.
Did not hear any complaints from other guests (130 persons). I strongly recommend Amber as an agent.
The location (Breathless Resort & Spa) was ideal. Large enough to get some quiet time, but also packed with events and locales to enjoy bonding with the different sides of the family.
Restaurant and food choice was ample. Service was good.
Safely back at home now sharing lots of beautiful pictures.

Great Trip to Mexico for Adult Family!

Our trip involved using a large, previous (Covid) trip credit to book a new, upgraded resort with multiple rooms, airport transportation to/from our resort in Playa del Carmen. We ended up changing the resort twice based on online reviews and Amber handled all the changes like the professional she is. She responded to questions quickly and made us feel very confident in our selections. The trip ran very smoothly - there is no question that resorts and airlines respect bookings from travel agents and seem to go out of their way to provide better customer service. We were even able to use a discount voucher for one of our excursions - ATV and zip lining in the jungle!

An Amazing Honeymoon!

I wasn't sure about using a travel agent because I like to be the one in control, but I couldn't be happier that we decided to work with Amber to book our honeymoon. From helping us pick our destination to updating us the many times our flights changed, she was always prompt and very helpful. The morning of our return, our first flight was delayed and it looked unlikely that we wouldn't make our connection. We did, but Amber helped us develop a backup plan in case we didn't. I felt so much more at ease knowing I had someone to help with all the logistics!

First trip outside the United States!

Amber helped my husband and I book our very first trip out of the U.S. to Cancun. We wanted to go somewhere super touristy to get our feet wet with our first international travel. We had saw this resort on a TV show, and she did some investigating to find us a great deal that included our ideal length of stay, airfare, airport transport, amusement park, and travel insurance with about $200 to spare in our budget. While in Cancun, we stayed at the Occidental, which wasn't high-end but also not run-down. We did several of the Xcaret parks, which I recommend only if you have a lot of time. The parks are very time-consuming and ate up most of our stay. Our biggest regret was not spending at least one day just relaxing on the awesome beachfront of the resort. I definitely recommend Amber, and I hope to work with her again soon!
