Our adventures thus far have taken us to 48 of the United States, seven Canadian provinces from British Columbia to Nova Scotia, six states in Mexico, as well as Bahamas, Belize, Bermuda, Costa Rica, Cuba, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Panama (where we walked across the Canal!), and Turks and Caicos, plus twenty-four beautiful Caribbean islands: Anguilla, Antigua, Aruba, Barbados, Bonaire, Curacao, Dominica, Dominican Republic, Grand Cayman, Grenada, Haiti, Harvest Caye, Jamaica, Jost Van Dyke, Nevis, Puerto Rico, Roatán, St. John, St. Kitts, St. Lucia, St. Maarten, St. Thomas, Tortola, and Virgin Gorda. 

Peru is the most exotic country we have visited. Traveling by train from Cusco along the edge of the Urubamba River to reach Machu Picchu gives passengers a spectacular view of the Andes mountains through the glass dome of the rail car. Being at a 12,000 foot elevation in the Sacred Valley is truly a breathtaking experience! Cartagena, Colombia was another fantastic spot to explore in South America. 

We have taken multiple trips to magnificent Europe, venturing through France, Italy, England, Scotland, Ireland, Spain, Switzerland, Netherlands, Belgium, Monaco and Luxembourg. In the summer of 2015, we cruised to some of Maryann's "bucket list" destinations, including the Norwegian fjords, St Petersburg, Russia and several Baltic capitals. Cruising the beautiful Danube took us to Hungary, Slovakia, Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany. We enjoy the unique history, architecture, scenery, food, culture and languages in each of the European countries. 

The best trip we ever took was to Australia and New Zealand. Maryann's favorite place on Earth is Kangaroo Island off the southern coast of Australia. If you enjoy seeing wildlife, there is no better place to get close to koalas, kangaroos, fairy penguins, Cape Barren geese, wallabies, echidnas, New Zealand fur seals and glossy black cockatoos in their natural habitat. 

Our next dream destination is southern Africa.
