Kate was incredibly knowledgeable and provided great advice as to our itinerary on our first trip to Southeast Asia. She did a great job on flights, itinerary, destinations, logistics and lodging. We made many changes along the way and Kate was always responsive and accommodating. I would not venture to Asia without her guidance! FIVE stars plus.

A great family escape from cold!

I tasked Kate with planning a family vacation to Florida on relatively short notice for a specific date range. She was able to put together a comprehensive package that included airfare (arriving in Orlando and departing from Tampa), rental car, and two different housing accommodations. The package price was amazing, her recommendation for a two bed/two bath suite was perfect, and the midsize SUV we drove daily was comfortable and easily picked up and dropped off at the different airports. Kate capably addressed all of my requests!

I have never traveled to Japan before and I do not usually book through travel agents, but so glad that I did! Kate really listened to what we wanted, worked within our budget, and added her experiences and input to make the most of our trip. From the moment we stepped off of the airplane we felt very well taken care of. We had a combination of group tours and individual guides. The bus tours were very informative, we did not feel rushed, and we had very nice meals included that were not the usual cafateria buffet style. It was a fabulous trip from start to finish and having the arrangements and guides took away all of the stress from not knowing the language or trying to get around in a new country.

Amazing Wedding Anniversary and Solo Trips to Asia!

Working with Kate was absolutely woonderful! She planned and booked both our 30th wedding anniversary trip to Singapore and Thailand, as well as a solo adventure for me to South Korea—and every single detail was fantastic.

Great trip to Mexico during the Pandemic

We had previously worked with Kate for a trip to Japan and were so impressed with her that we asked her for help in organizing a trip to Mexico. We had very specific destination requirements because of the pandemic and she was able to work with us to find a great deal on an amazing resort. We had a bit of a passport hiccup and she worked overtime to determine what our options were. We then had to deal with a hurricane during our trip and she once again was on top of the situation and helped us to decide whether to stay or try to go home early. In spite of these challenges we had a great time.

Amazing first trip to Japan

Kate worked with us to arrange a perfect first trip to Japan. Her expertise was obvious right off the bat when she told us what to expect with respect to within-country transportation. She understood our needs and was non-judgmental about our budgetary requirements. We had some uncommon destination requests and she worked with us to make those experiences perfect as well. This was one of the most memorable trips of our lives and we can't wait to work with her to go back once the pandemic is over.

great trip to spain

We decided to put together a last-minute trip to Spain. And Kate brought it all together in less than four weeks. The hotel locations were spot on and the attention to detail on securing tickets and attractions was great. We decided to change our itinerary on a couple of things and Kate worked to get us a refund on the things we did not want to do. We also had to use our trip insurance due to a family illness and she was very helpful with that as well. She is a very experienced travel agent and understand the nuances of family travel very well.

Great trip to South Korea. Kate helped plan a visit to our son at Osan Air Force Base and a tour of the country side. The countryside tour had great food and accommodations. Enjoyed the company of both the other tourist and guide. Finished trip in Seoul. Kate booked lovely hotel in central location for our final days. Flights also booked by Kate and were flawless. Trip of a lifetime

I Had already posted a review but I wanted to add a few more comments. We had tried to go to Korea on several occasions in the logistics never worked out. Kate literally worked with us for years on these complicated trips to Korea that never materialized. Even as we are putting the final touches on our 2019 trip and changes were coming through she cheerfully advocated for a position with the trip operator and make sure the truck was what we want what we wanted.

Simply the "Best"

I have known Kate for 20 years...she's my friend, my sister at heart and simply the "best" at what she does...travel. I wouldn't go anywhere without her knowledge and expertise. My husband and I have traveled many times with Kate and hubby Tony and we just have the best time, no high pressure to do this or do that, after all, we're on vacation. Recently Kate planned a river cruise for 10 couples...unfortunately my travel buddy had to cancel at the last minute due to emergency knee surgery...no problem...we both had insurance, what could go wrong? Two weeks after our return I learned that I almost didn't get to make this trip of a lifetime. The cruise line insisted that I had to pay for a single room at almost twice the cost. Kate fought for me, and from what I understand it was quite a fight, but thanks to Kate I was able to go on this incredible journey without incurring any further expenses. This is why you need a good travel agent. Whatever your travel plans are...a honeymoon, first time cruiser, family reunion or just a good time vacation...Kate's the one you should call.

Family Trip to Japan - best trip of our lives

Kate was excellent in organizing our family trip to Japan, from point to point, all over Japan, including travel by bus and train and lodging. We had a piece of mind and no hassles at all. The English speaking travel guides she arranged for us were very good in spoken English and conversation, knowledgeable too. Everyone was very courteous and provided enough time to reply to our questions. We were very happy to work with Kate in this regard. This is the first time we were working with her and we got a full confidence that we can depend on her for arranging our future travels too without any hesitation. We have already recommended few of my colleagues when I was asked how I planned the trip and will be happy to do the same in future too. We have a very high regards for Kate and her travel agency. Three of us enjoyed the trip thoroughly. This was one of the best family trip abroad we had so far.

Most Wonderful Trip

Kate has been absolutely fabulous. She arranged our tour in China (from Kunming to Xi'an, from Xi'an to Beijing, and from Beijing to Hong Kong), taking into consideration what we want to accomplish while in China. Her advise has been so valuable in terms of where to stay, where to go, best way to maximize stay and time. Her overseas partners are equally great (and they speak English!)
We have been so "wow-ed" by her services which made our trip seamless and memorable!

We have used Kate DeLosso Travel for years and she is currently planning our trip for 2016. Whether it be land, sea and/or air, Kate is there for us. Yes, we could do it ourselves but I have discovered over the years the advantages of using a really good travel agent who has knowledge & savvy saves time & money. Looking on line for air, travel tours or great cruises is really time consuming and we don't know all the resources available which makes for a lot of waste. Kate knows from personal experience (she's traveled far & wide) and if she doesn't know, she has the network & resources to find out. We've used Kate for river cruises, Mediterranean & Panama cruises, Europe, Argentina, land tours & bus trips. When we want to travel by ourselves, she arranges our air, pickup tours, cars and train info & giving excellent experiential tips. In emergencies, she has proved to be the best. While on a cruise trip with Kate's group several years ago, I fell in Croatia and was seriously injured which ended my cruise mid trip. Kate was our group leader--she sprang into action and helped me through the morass of medical, trip insurance details & intervened for me with the airlines and ship to get me safely home. She followed up with me by helping me with the trip insurance co. (which is both a lifesaver & tangle of paperwork!) for reimbursement. That's a travel agent who cares as well! Finally, Kate is patient with our questions or trip inquiries regardless of whether we are booking or not. My husband & love to travel and have done it extensively, together & solo, so I am glad to have Kate DeLosso Travel as our travel guru. Susan C.

A perfect 10!

My wife and I found Kate to be very responsive and easy to work with. She quickly understood the prime objectives of our trip and developed an itinerary that included all the principal sites and attractions that we were hoping to visit. All reservations and transfers went flawlessly and we had complete confidence that there would be no issues with the 9 hotel stays and 11 separate flights that our trip encompassed. Our room locations in hotels that offered views were excellent. Every detail was addressed down to the excellent seat location of our tickets to 2 days at the Australian Open tennis tournament which were close to the action and fortunately shaded from the midday Melbourne sun which can be quite uncomfortable.
We were also very pleased with Kate's travel services for previous trips to several European countries as well as add-on travel for cruises to Alaska, the Baltic Sea and Greek islands.
