"I have never worked with a travel agent before and working with Melissa has been more than a pleasant surprise. I didn't realize what an amazing service she would provide. We have booked two trips with her, thus far, and will continue to work with her in the future. I also refer her to anyone I know who is planning a trip. I originally worked with Melissa to arrange airfare only and soon became aware what an invaluable resource she is. From arranging hotels, to land transportation, excursions and adventures; she focuses on what will best serve our needs. She asks the questions to find out what we are really looking for in our vacation and helps us plan accordingly. She also has great ideas for things that would not necessarily be on our radar, but worth considering. Best part, she NEVER pushes, only makes great suggestions. I had never been to Jamaica before being invited there for friends' wedding. Melissa provided great choices for lodging and arranged all my inter-island transportation from the Montego Bay airport to the wedding in Negril and back. The places I stayed were all-inclusive resorts and were very much to my liking. They were in my opinion, medium priced and well worth the price.

Perfect for the unseasoned traveler and those going to a new destination. Melissa handled all the arrangements, transfers, as well as legal documentation. All I had to do was pack and get to the airport! Perfect way to take a trip! Our last trip was canceled due to the pandemic. By far, one of the best experiences of our lives! Going to Walt Disney World during Spring Break can be stressful and I couldn't have done it properly without the help of Melissa at Travel Leaders! Strike out with Amtrak

It was a great experience. She was able to navigate the Amtrak system
and secure a booking for me from Chicago to Seattle. I wouldn't have
been able to do it by myself.
Unfortunately, the Amtrak experience didn't turn out too well. It had
absolutely nothing to do with Melissa. All of the problems with the trip
were due to poor Amtrak "management".
I would have no problems using Melissa in the future if the occasion

Absolute Beauty

Great Pandemic Get Away!

One of the key values that Melissa adds to planning a family vacation is that she has personal experience of having traveled to many places with her own family. Because of this, she often had some very important inside information that I would never be privy to. Her beginning to end knowledge opened the possibilities that enhanced our vacation experience. With this added information, she helped me to select activities and options to offer to the rest of my family to make it a truly individualized vacation for each family member. Members of our family ranged from 8 - 67 years of age and throughout the week long cruise, everyone had choices during the day and evening to do things they enjoyed. Our experience with Melissa was great! We told her what we were looking for and price range and she was able to get just what we wanted! She recommended a great resort and gave us a couple different options to choose from. We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel on Universal property. We visited all three parks and spent time at City Walk shopping and dining. We loved staying on Universal property almost everything was in walking distance or a short boat ride. Volcano Bay was the only one we had to shuttle but that was really quick and easy too. We took and uber to Magic Kingdom and Hollywood Studios and stopped at Disney Springs. I would highly recommend using an agent as it made the planning so much easier, they do all the work, and you pick from the options she gives you. We have used Melissa for several family trips and each time have had the best time!!

People think Travel Agents are a thing of the past. Working with Melissa for close to 15 years - she is incredible to work with. Her attention to detail is bar none the best. We recently booked a complex trip which included four flights, three accommodations, two car rentals on 3 different Islands : Oahu, Kauai and Maui in Hawaii for a group of 8 people. I have to say the ease of traveling knowing Melissa was a call away if we ran into any snags was such a blessing. This was our first trip to Hawaii the scheduling of flights coincided with check-out and check-in times and the location of the hotels being central to all activities made this trip a huge success! When going to unknown destinations its hard to know what side of the Island to stay on, but Melissa has been to a lot of these destinations, her wealth of knowledge put us in the best locations one could ask for!

I highly recommend working with Melissa! We went in looking to book a trip to Nashville and left with a trip to Mexico. She easily accommodated our requests and kept in touch with us frequently. It was so nice to not have to worry about finding a flight and hotel all on our own! We stayed at BlueBay Grand Esmeralda. It did need some updating but they also were closed during the start of the pandemic, which is understandable! I overall felt very comfortable there. Their drinks, food, service and pool were amazing! I would definitely go back and use Melissa again!

Best Experience with a Travel Agent

Melissa was recommended to me by a coworker and suggested I contact her for a Hawaii trip that was on special for the day; it was definitely an impromptu move on my part!
Melissa looked for different flight options for me and found something that would work for the airline special and my work schedule.
She kept in touch from me until I left by either replying to my added questions or forwarding me information about where I was going, travel and packing tips, and general "Have Fun" emails.
I would definitely recommend Melissa to others.
My trips are usually close enough to drive, or book my airlines myself. I have not traveled by Airlines for pleasure in sometime, and certainly not on such a whim. My experience with Melissa will make me reconsider calling her for travel plans in the future.

Our Aslaskan Adventure

We thoroughly enjoyed our Alaskan Cruise and Melissa Gutting at Travel Leaders was instrumental in making that happen. She was able to book a direct flight for us and our two traveling companions from Minneapolis to Anchorage and home again from Vancouver to Minneapolis. She booked us on the Caribbean Princess which was a very nice cruise boat. Initially we were only able to get a cabin with a porthole. She made it possible for us to have a room with a balcony. She prepared a complete packet that included our flight details and complete itinerary as well as other useful information. Melissa was always cheerful and helpful in answering all of our questions. Funnest Family Trip I've Been on with my Triplets, ever!

I took my 9yr old triplets to Disneyworld for a week. We were able to see all four Disneyworld parks (park hopper is a MUST), we rented a car and drove to Kennedy Space Center (worth it!). The dining plan we were on was unbelievable easy to work with. The photo pass package was awesome. The kids enjoyed their own Magic Bands (they loved to be able to be the ones to open the hotel room door) The flight to and from was perfect, zero issues with the airlines, TSA. If you have Disneyworld questions, ask Melissa, she's been there a billion and a half times....

5 years ago Melissa helped us with our first Disney vacation and it was one of the best trips of our lives. We have all very positive things to say about Melissa Gutting. It started out as a not very positive feel for us due to the whole COVID cancellation and our experience with the prior agent. But, Melissa stepped in and was very knowledgeable and patient with us in getting some value out of that credit, and felt like she really understood our situation and worked to give us some great options. The vacation that exceeded our expectations!

Melissa did an outstanding job for us. Our trip was very complicated as we used many different travel types. We flew to Prague, spent time there on our own. Then we took a train to Munich, joined a tour group and traveled throughout Germany and Austria. We then flew to London for a few days on our own. Finally, we traveled to South Hampton where we boarded the Queen Mary 2 for our return to the US. Melissa thought of things that never crossed our minds. Her hotel choices were first class all the way. She provided a well organized folder with detailed information about all our transportation, lodging and events and COVID procedures. We never could have done this on our own.

Amazing family trip to Disney

We did a lot of research on the best travel agent in the area. She was at the top of this list & proved to us time over time why she was. She helped plan our extended family of 15 trip to Disney June 2022. She helped us coordinate airline tickets, hotel & park tickets/reservations & much more. She helped us pick out the perfect Disney resort for our family that was close to the parks & had everything needed for our family (great pool, activities for the kids & a wonderful restaurant). She explained in detail the benefits of magic bands and Disney PhotoPass. She helped us purchase/reserve tickets in each park & gave us wonderful advice about what order to do the parks & how to spread them out so that we could enjoy free time & time at parks. Once we got into contact with her, she was very helpful and gave us several good tips and made sure we were very comfortable with our travel plans--we had not traveled abroad and were nervous. First, I must simply state that Melissa is the most pleasant, knowledgeable, and supportive agent anyone could ask for. She filled in twice for us as she was not our primary agent initially, and both times she gave us great comfort, and a far deeper understanding of the details of our trip. The second time we reached out to her, she spent hours in her off time helping us to get a flight home after having had an emergency landing as a consequence of United Airlines maintenance issues. We were at witts-end …there was no support from United and at the last minute we thought to call Melissa and she came through for us with flying colors. I have worked with Melissa for several years, in planning my trips. I use her for doing all my Disney trips, because she is so knowledgeable, professional and friendly. I give her my idea’s and she helps decide the best plan, she answers questions in a timely manner, has good suggestions, and tries to see that I have the best vacation. She is able to think ahead and anticipate issues, and then we can discuss best way to handle them. On our last trip she made a booklet that gave us our daily itinerary, so we could write down thoughts, such as souvenirs to buy, this was very helpful for a non tech person. Her enthusiasm for your trip is contagious. Even planning, other vacations to just have her do the reservations because I know they are done correctly

Perfect getaway!

Sister Trip to Vegas!!!

My husband and I have had the pleasure of working with Melissa on dreaming of Disney Vacations and following through by going to Disney World. She is very well-versed in all things Disney and gives my husband, a former Disney Cast Member, a run for his money on the goings on at the Parks. When we aren't talking Disney, she has discussed other options that appeal to the Scuba/Snorkeling side of our lives. She is fun to work with and it's easy to see she enjoys helping people. We would (and have) highly recommend Melissa Gutting for all of your traveling needs!

Fun weekend getaway!

The trip was planned to maximize our 3 days away. Everything from the flight, limousine and hotel to the brewery tour was well planned. Melissa sent us information on Boston and touring suggestions. We even had sunny weather for two of the days!

Melissa has a very enthusiastic personality and is very professional in how she deals with her clients. I book all my trips with her because she has very good idea's for the planning of it. I even book just airplane reservations because I know that they will be done correctly and in a timely manner. If I have had any issues after booking she has been able to trouble shoot for me, and that is important to me. I want to have fun on my vacation and have it as worry free as possible and she helps provide that for me.

Melissa was very helpful and had great ideas to make our trip fantastic! She has lots of experience with going to Disney World, the different places to stay and best times to visit the parks.
