We contacted Michelle when we wanted to go on a vacation but really didn't know where we wanted to go, especially during the Christmas season. We had a few places in mind, we gave Michelle some options, however, based on her experience and knowledge we went with something completely different which was a cruise, our first and we absolutely loved it! Michelle's knowledge and experience made the planning and travel so much easier! Michelle looked after everything and walked us through our itinerary and gave us some advice as it was our first cruise and really didn't know what to expect. We left for our vacation to relax and have a stress-free time. Michelle's attention to the details her knowledge and expertise certainly made our vacation stress-free. I’ve had Michele as my travel agent for other trips and she is always helpful with suggestions, realistic about options I can choose, extremely well organized and responds quickly. I’m a senior so it’s important to know which health and travel insurance is best suited to me - Michele has been clear in letting me know what might be best. She arranged our flights and responded to changes the airline made that were less than optimal. She has travelled in Europe and has been on similar types of cruises, so I trust her recommendations for cruise lines based on her experience. She checked in with us before the trip to make sure we had done all the necessary paperwork and explained things we weren’t sure about. I have no hesitation recommending her to others.

Michelle booked us for a two week boat cruise in Europe (from Budapest to Amsterdam). She dealt with all the details with Avalon Waterways (transfers, rooms, etc.) booked our flights (which included trying to deal with an unfortunate change by Air Canada to see if there were other options, and ensuring disability assistance), and discussed with us our health/travel insurance options. The emails she sent regarding various aspects of the trip were always clear. She responded quickly to questions (text and phone calls). At key points she sent reminders. Since she was copied on all correspondence, there was no chance of missing anything. We had full confidence in her guidance and based on our experience, she is very knowledgeable about the general things we as travelers needed to know, as well as about the trips she recommended (this is our third time working with her). Highly recommended!

Michele is great to work with. She listened to our travel hopes, answered questions, and gave us suggestions (which were spot on - we had a great time). She is knowledgeable about the travel industry (including travel insurance, transportation options, timing at transition points) and her approach is obviously informed by her own travel experiences, evident by the way she plans and prepares you for the trip. She is a detail person, providing us with everything we could possibly need to ensure things went smoothly (print outs of travel documents, hotel vouchers, airline and train tickets, etc.). I can be an anxious traveller, especially in places I’m unfamiliar with, using a language I don’t understand. I felt little of that before leaving due to the confidence that comes when every thing you need is handed to you in a folder (including her number to call with questions). I have already had the opportunity to recommend Michele to others, and will continue to do so.

Michele is an excellent travel advisor to work with. She’s thorough with the planning details, which meant I felt confident and not anxious as a very novice traveller. She listens to what you want to get out of the trip and then explains options available. She has personal experience with traveling, and is able to give advice and answer questions (or consults with colleagues as needed). She is also knowledgeable about details that make things go smoothly (travel documents needed for example). Weeks before we left she provided a travel packet with everything we needed printed out (airline tickets, hotel vouchers, cruise line information, reference numbers, emergency numbers (including hers) and even a packing list!). Everything went smoothly with no surprises, and it’s largely due to the planning Michele puts into it.

Visiting the Panama Canal was on our bucket list and a truly wonderful experience. Eighteen days of being pampered aboard the Princess Island cruise ship was a great way to do it. Michele was a great travel agent who helped plan this trip including providing for our wants and needs while aboard the ship. She also set up our dining options and end of trip airport transfers. Our highlight was a champagne breakfast that she had set up on our room balcony on the morning of our entry into the Panama Canal locks. It was a spectacular day. Took a last minute nine day cruise from Hawaii to Vancouver in May with my wife and had a great time on the Celebrity Edge. Michele arranged all aspects of the cruise including setting up our anytime dining, accommodations and transfers. My favorite thing about Michele is her promptness in responding to emails. She provided us with 5 or 6 resort choices that she thought would suit us and we went from there.

Sunscape Resort & Spa Puerto Vallarta is an older resort. Sparkling clean! Food and drinks were really good (and keep in mind that I say this after 14 days). Staff in all areas are friendly and really go out of their way to be helpful. And you can change up CAD to MXN right at the check in desk whenever you like. The location of this resort is excellent for moving about the city. Lots of things to do and places to eat all within walking distance. The Thursday Night Marina Market is really nice and worth the trip. Highly recommend doing the Rhythms of the Night excursion if you’re going to pick any one thing to do. We didn’t upgrade to Sun Club and after talking with guests who had - I really don’t think it was worth the extra money. The beach has lots of activities - kayaking, parasailing, fishing, banana boats, etc and everyone is having fun. It’s a great place for kiddos too!
