My first adventure was at the age of 16 when I traveled from the small village of Chester, Nova Scotia to Puerto Plata. Everything about the experience was unforgettable, and I returned home and immediately began Spanish lessons to keep in contact with someone I had met. Afterwards, I continued to travel to Puerto Plata every year to reconnect with him and dive further into the Latin culture.

I knew that I wanted to be a travel agent right after high school. Once I graduated from college, I moved to Puerto Plata and got a job at a local hotel. I worked as a Hotel Representative booking excursions doing welcome meetings and airport transfers. I soon married that same guy I had met on my first trip four years prior! We eventually moved back to Canada together, and I immediately got my dream job as a travel agent. I started off in leisure travel and then expanded to booking corporate trips with American Express for companies like General Motors.

After moving into administrative roles, I have now returned to my passion for booking leisure trips in the Caribbean and beyond! I work with everyone from first-time travelers to seasoned explorers and more. I have booked for families of all ages along with honeymooners, couples, plus large and small groups.
