Horseback riding in Puerto Vallarta
When I go on vacation, I like to make sure that all details are taken care of (flights, hotels, transfers, sightseeing) yet also want to have some free time to explore whatever I might be interested in doing that day. I know most of my clients also want all details taken care of in advance so they can put their brain in “vacation mode”. My specialties are family travel, couples getaways, and all-inclusive resorts and escorted tours. Whether you are looking at a vacation for 1 person or 100, I can help plan a memorable getaway that you’ll remember with fondness for many years to come.
I have seen many fascinating areas of the world......Fiji, the Caribbean, Mexico, Asia, and Europe. One of my more recent trips was to Costa Rica. My husband and I stayed at two different resorts, and boy were they different from each other. I've also been able to sail with several cruise lines in the Caribbean and Europe, including a couple of river cruises (one in Europe, one in Asia).
I’d love to share my experiences and knowledge with you about all these wonderful destinations. I've been in the travel industry since 1984 and am a Travel Leaders Certified Travel Specialist. I enjoy exploring new areas and will take care of all your travel details to make sure you have a well planned, worry free vacation.

I recommend her all the time! We will and we have called Laurie for every vacation! We have used her services for years! Love her suggestions and she always finds us the best deals. She has a great knowledge base of destinations and price ranges and can flex up or down depending on our needs. On our most recent trip to Hawaii, she became a vital asset when our daughter ended up having knee surgery 1 month prior to our departure date. We approached Laurie to plan an Australia land tour prior to our booked transpacific cruise. She jumped right in and provided great support from day 1 through the actual trip.
Laurie built a 2 week itinerary for us, always listening to what we valued and wanted in our trip. She was incredibly prompt and responsive to all questions and concerns that we had.
Laurie was able to walk us through some confusing paperwork, made suggestions that enhanced our trip, and even contacted us at a hotel in Australia to make sure we knew about a change in tour plans. Having never traveled to Australia before, Laurie made the trip comfortable for us and a "once in a lifetime" experience. We couldn't have done it without her.

We wanted to take a long and complex trip by train and car, and Laurie came highly recommended. She worked with us from the very beginning to find the best and most reasonably priced routes for our trip which included roommettes and sleeper cars on Amtrak, as well as rental cars when train connections weren't available. We had some adventures with cancelled and delayed trains, and Laurie was right there helping us navigate the changes so we could continue to enjoy our long-delayed vacation.

Olympics in France

My family had a fairly specific request in that we wanted to go to France, for the Olympics, in two different locations being Marseille and Paris. Even though we booked late, Laurie was able to find us accommodations and helped us with our transportation needs for the trip. Once we were there, not much was needed from her, but the planning was done so well that we never ran into an issue. I honestly only wanted to go to the Olympics, but fell in love with France, especially Marseille, while we were there. A return trip to the South of France is definitely in the plans.

Mother/Daughter Getaway

Our trip was absolutely AMAZING! The trip could not have gone better- our flights, hotel, tours.... everything went flawlessly! The weather was great- I can't tell you how happy we were with the whole experience. Absolutely everything went off without a hitch thanks to all of your help and guidance! I honestly would not have changed a thing- it was truly the trip of a lifetime :)
I can't thank you enough for all of your help and I will be telling all my friends and family to "Go see Laurie at Travel Leaders!" when planning their vacations!
