This our second trip booked with Jody. She has been especially helpful answering our questions and providing insight about potential destinations. Particularly when traveling outside of the U.S., we have valued her knowledge and experience. In comparison to booking online, having her to answer our questions and provide advice has great and enabled us to travel abroad without having to learn from experience, but rather, benefit from her experience. We got a great price for our trip and things like transportation from the airport to our destination were included so that we could travel worry free. We bought trip insurance in case something came up like illness or weather. This insurance included a price guarantee. After booking, the price dropped answer got the lower price Wich more than payed for the insurance. We will be using Jody again.

Jody has assisted us (me and my immediate and extended family) on multiple occasions for a variety of travel arrangements. She has a tremendous depth of knowledge of vacation areas. She also knows the little details that make your traveling experience easier, more economical and maximizes your time doing what you want to be doing on vacation - having fun. Jody works with us to ensure she has an understanding of what we are trying to get out of our trips/vacations and applies her skills to achieving individualized trips with our goals in mind. She pays strict attention to detail. The package of travel info we receive from her each time is concise and perfect without a missing detail each time we travel. I can't imagine a better travel agent.

Jody has helped me with multiple different trips and it has been an excellent experience each time. The most recent was a week ago where I went on a trip with 5 others to the Dominican Republic. Jody did a great job sending us all info (not everyone lives in MN) and coordinating everything. We picked a resort she recommended and it was absolutely amazing! Newbie Cruisers receive Best Service!

From the moment we walked into Jody's office on a total whim to the finale of our 2 week Caribbean cruise, Jody won us over with both her personal and professional sensitivities towards first time cruisers! Jody is very friendly, extremely perceptive and an astute business woman who worked hard for our complete satisfaction. She sized us up very quickly and provided several cruise choices the day after our first visit. We called to better understand the cruise options and after listening to Jody's thoughts and advise steeped with years of travel wisdom, we booked a 2 week Caribbean cruise on Regal Princess. From there, Jody patiently listened to all our questions ranging from how to pay, tip, take land excursions, pack, etc. and provided a wealth of information to address those questions as well as all the questions we didn't even know about yet. Financial transactions were seamless and all the required paperwork was sent promptly in a well organized folder. We are sold on Jody!

Dominican Republic coronavirus trip 2020

Excellent trip

It is always smooth and efficient when Jody is in charge. She had her work cut out for her on this Princess Land/Sea cruise to Alaska. There 10 of us traveling together. In addition to keeping us organized on the train from Denali to Whittier and booking us in adjacent cabins on the Regal Princess, she managed to figure out the best way to use frequent flyer miles to its best advantage for us all. We even have friends from Missouri who use Jody for their travel needs!

A trip to remember!

She was knowledgeable about setting up our trip and it was executed very well. We had no troubles with hotels or flights. This was our first trip out of the United States and she made it enjoyable and organized. The communication was somewhat harder over email and we hit a few bumps during the initial planning phase, but after that was settled, we enjoyed our trip so much!

She was great! Responded to questions quickly. My only issue with the trip was originally I was told we had a room away from everyone because we had a pull out couch. When I reviewed the rooms, this wasn't the case. Then I was told we had a crib and a loft for my three year old. This also was not the case. We were given a pack and play. A three year old is bigger than a pack and play. We had sleep issues with the toddler etc due to this.

We survived the COVID in the Caribbean

Working with Jody is always an amazing experience!!! My husband and I were traveling when the COVID-19 pandemic was starting to ramp up. We had been hearing a lot of misleading information from other travelers who were getting worried. While in destination, the United States issued a travel ban, which seemed to make travelers worry more. I had contacted Jody several times during our travel to have her explain the situation that was going on in the US and how it affected us. She reassured us many, MANY, times which allowed us to enjoy the rest of our trip. Jody is an Amazing travel agent. She goes above and beyond for all of her customers. Honeymoon

Jody is so easy to work with! My husbands family's had been booking trips through her for a while, so when we decided to take our own trips, we went through Jody as well. When helping us choose where to go, we just gave her time frames of when we were looking and a general idea of where we wanted to go, and she gave us a list with plenty of options for us to look in to. Once we chose where we wanted to go, the process from there was super easy. Jody takes care of everything in a timely manner, and is very easy to connect with. Besides when I went in to drop off payment, all communications were through email. Jody also helped us book an excursion on one of our trips which made it easier for when we arrived in our destination. I would highly recommend working with Jody as she made the whole planning process extremely easy. She listens to your needs and takes what you want in to consideration.

50th Anniversary Celebration

Jody made our dream trip wonderful! We were celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary by taking our children and grandchildren (14 total) to a warm destination. We had special needs with my husband in a wheelchair. She scouted out many resorts in the Puerto Morales area of Mexico sending us all the info she received. She verified several times the handicapped status of the resort we had previously stayed in several times, even convincing the resort to purchase a special shower chair for him! We had two 3 bed 3.5 bath suites right on the beach. We had 7 teenagers needing activities such as parasailing, snorkeling, wind surfing, cliff diving, swimming with the dolphins and she recommended Olympus which was great.

Being seniors, we had several concerns which she addressed promptly and completely with many special recommendations like taxis vs rentals, money exchanges, airport suggestions, etc. She is an expert on Caribbean travel and we highly recommend her--best travel agent ever

Our amazing sun vacation!

Jody found us an extremely reasonably-priced trip for four to Fort Meyers, Florida. The resort she helped us choose was quaint, clean, well-cared for, friendly and safe. The flights Jody chose helped us to enjoy a full day in Florida on our arrival and a full day on the return. Sun Country was accommodating and friendly as well. Lifesaver when airline canceled flights!

Jody was an absolute lifesaver when our airline canceled not one, but two flights on our way to Jamaica. She took the reins and rebooked our flight the day before we were scheduled to leave, we didn’t have to lift a finger (except to call her). Then, when our connecting flight was cancelled, leaving us stranded across the country, she got on the phone with the airline and the travel package company - on a Saturday afternoon! - to get our flight rebooked, to shift our stay in Jamaica so that our vacation wouldn’t be shortened, and to book us a hotel for the night when the airline refused to do so. She smoothed out all the bumps on our way to Jamaica, and we were able to fully enjoy the trip we had been anticipating for months. Couldn’t have done it without her, and we will absolutely be looking to work with Jody again in the future.

I haven't used a travel agent for 20 years, simply because I could do it on my own. When I met Jody I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of "extras" we received that I could never get by booking online myself. I have worked with Jody a few times in the past with cruises. This time was a trip to Maui. Everything was in perfect order from our flights, rental car and hotel reservation. She was great with the pretrip planning giving us different price options, etc and all of our trip documents were sent to us ahead of time. Our dream honeymoon!!

Jody was so great in helping us set up our Honeymoon! We had no idea what we wanted when we went in to see her. She showed us numerous ideas and once she described Hawaii but didn't know where to go other than wanting to do more than one island. She told us what we would see on each island and which part of each island to stay on based on what we were looking to do. She changed things whenever we asked and talked us through our itenerary and made us a list of everything we were going to need to bring and have ready to make everything go smoothly! And boy did it go smoothly! My Husband and I were so pleasantly surprised at how easy it was to get from island to island and from airport to hotel. The best thing that happened to us in 2020

Jody did a wonderful job finding us a beautiful resort in a great location. She worked with us to help set up special services through the airline at the airports which was instrumental in reducing the stress factor of traveling during a pandemic for our entire family. She answered our many questions during the planning phase of our trip and helping us navigate traveling during a pandemic. At close to the last minute of traveling, Jody found out our original resort we were booked to go to unexpectedly closed down for the rest of the year due to the pandemic. Jody found us options and we were blown away by how nice the resort was and how safe the employees made it for us. Jody coordinated all of our travel documents in a very efficient and timely manner. We used those travel documents throughout our trip.

We started working with Jody a number of years ago in planning our cruises and have continued to do so. She is SUPER at what she does. Jody is so friendly and has a bubbly personality, which makes it a joy to work with her. If we asked her about something, she was right there to respond to our request. All of the hotels she has set up for us have been great. We just took a family cruise with 4 of our children and their spouses and significant other, and she planned it all. Great Trip for Friends Wedding

Our vacation didn't start off as expected. Our first flight left 2 hours late causing us to miss our connecting flight in Chicago. That flight, was a direct flight to Jamaica and we paid to have First Class. I immediately contacted Jody who was already multitasking on the computer looking for flights, on hold with a United Rep, and talking to me on her cell phone! Unfortunately there were no other direct flights from Chicago to Jamaica that day. We had to fly to Atlanta losing our First Class status for that flight but we were able to get our First Class back for our next flight to Jamaica. Jody filled out the claim forms through United for us to get reimbursed for losing the First Class status that we lost. I got an email confirmation from United about our reimbursement claim before we even got on the flight that we were being reimbursed for! While on vacation, I received an email explaining how much we were getting reimbursed for. Jody is the best! Super helpful and honest.

I was nervous because I’ve never worked with one and I’m a pretty organized person that normally likes to plan things all on my own. I had no need to be nervous. Jody was fantastic and I can’t believe I ever considered trying to look up/compare/and book everything all on my own. You still have to do some research, to see if you’d really like the resorts she sends you or not, but that was the fun part in it all! I didn’t have to worry about booking or figuring out any of the details, which is exactly what I didn’t want to deal with. We were able to do everything remotely, which was great, so majority of our communication was via email along with a few phone calls. She asked all the right questions and answered all of mine very thoroughly. I will definitely be returning for any future trips!

Awesome Trip, Hotel and Cruise

In Ft. Lauderdale we had a nice Oceanview Hotel with great pool and amenities. Great restaurants nearby and water taxis were fun and took you where you wanted. Great beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas. Took a 8 day cruise on Royal Caribbean Allure of the Seas. Awesome ship, great cabin with balcony, good dining, great shows/comedians/magicians, aqua show, Central Park, ice rink, shopping, zip line with plenty of kids and teenage water activities.

Cancun

We did the catamaran for a day that was very good. I would recommend that we did the jet boat jungle tour. I would recommend that and the hotel itself was very nice. The only issue we had was when we got to the airport there was nobody to pick us up I had to pay for transportation there and I’m still waiting for a refund. I got a hold of Delta and told him sent it. Otherwise the whole trip was pretty good plus the return trip they were late to pick us up and I prefer not to use that company again that was scheduled to pick us up and take us back to the airport. I think I will stick with Amstar Amstar was way Better and helping us plan trips and everything that we did. We have used Amster in Cozumel and they were always right there at the airport. They were always ready to pick us up and return us to the airport. I had no issues with them whatsoever.

Winter Getaway 2026

Caribbean Trip

We had a lovely time on our trip! We love traveling with Ann and Art. Jody did an awesome job planning our trip. There were a few things that were ok. Our ship, The Norwegian Epic. Older ship, and it showed in some ways. The layout of the rooms sucked. It wasn't set up well. Seemed very crowded, and the bathroom set up... wow. Bed sucked, it was very hard. Our cruise had a ton of kids of all ages on it. I know you can't plan that. The pools were always over crowded with kids who were not suppose to be in them as well as hot tubs. I am not apposed to kids being on vacation. I wasn't expecting as many. Again, you can't police that. Staff were not as friendly as on our first experience, Princess Cruise line. They were told basically to be quiet. I had observed an officer shush some during our breakfast as they were talking amongst themselves. Just not what I expected to see. Our dining meals were wonderful. Breakfast buffet was ok. Kind of the same old food every morning. San Juan, Puerto Rico airport was a nightmare. After getting off of our ship ... waiting there with thousands of other travelers for about 5 hours. No place to sit for at least 3 hours. Just not a pleasant experience. We were supposed to have an excursion, but it was cancelled the night before due to a festival? So, with that being said, again, not Jody's fault it was cancelled. Jody planned our trip, kept us informed as to changes that happened. I really like Jody's knowledge and ease of planning our trips for us. She was very efficient from the very early planning stages up until the very end. I would definitely go through Jody for any planning of a trip again.

Trip of a Lifetime!

The trip was amazing and exhausting in a good way. Everything went without a hitch, all arranged transportation was excellent. We had assistance for grandparents at all air ports. The tours of Sagrada Familia and The Acropolis and Parthenon were experiences like no other and a must do!! The hotels were excellent and I would highly recommend, both had roof top restaurant/bars with beautiful city views. Melia Athens had a front and center view of the Acropolis and Parthenon, which was breathtaking. The ports of interest were all fantastic! and all uniquely different. A few of our favorites, Crete, Genoa and the excursion that took us to Camogli, Santa Margareta and Portofino. Rome was incredible! The hardest thing about the trip was the fact that because we had an excursion at each port, we didn't have much time to really enjoy the ship. 2 days at sea was not enough, this is not a complaint by any means, it was just our reality, since we have never been to any of these places.

Alaska Vacation 2025

We mostly loved the trip. The weather was perfect most days. We saw Denali in its full glory. The only rain day was the fishing day. Alaska is so very beautiful pictures can describe it. We had issues with Brenda's Delta App. we had to go to the Delta desk and fix her boarding pass both on the way to Alaska and on our return. Ken was very disappointed in the fishing trip. He felt the guide didn't seem that interested our fishing. He was late picking us up. Really did try anything different to catch fish. Other boats brought in fish we had nothing. He complained how the Cruise Ships just brought in sickness the locals. They are on giant petri dish. The scenery was beautiful. Our guide Jeff on the land portion was a wonderful, helpful, informative guide. The cabin steward we had on the Cruise was great. He was so very accommodating. Brenda developed knee problems, we purchased a cane to help her walk. Ken caught a coughing cold on the ship. This held him back on some of the Excursions. T

Had a great time!

Thank you. We had a wonderful time. Weather was windy and red flag so no swimming in ocean. We did book a fishing excursion which was fun. We did on our own. We travelled to city of Mazatlán which was about 45 minute drive the concierge booked for us. Spa at resort is very nice but costly. Typical for spa pricing out of country. Resort has wonderful restaurants all great food. Sit down and buffet. 24 hour cafe has good food and beverages. Pool is wonderful and so is the staff. Fernando was awesome. Lazy river was nice but water was cold. Rooms are clean and beds comfortable. Recommend getting the app so you know what restaurants are open. Wished they would give a daily activities schedule. Can see on app but didn’t know all the night activities and that they had buffets with them. Couple tv screens on site but not always clear where to go and what it all entails. Fantastic Mediterranean cruise

First, I have had Jody plan a few trips. She has always been very thorough, and I always have all the necessary paperwork in hand before leaving along with very helpful packing lists. Jody was patient with me when I had to put plans on hold for a family medical episode, and then was glad to pick right up where we left off when I was ready to book. Jody encouraged us to upgrade to the Yacht Club on our MSC cruise. It was totally worth the money spent. Very little time waiting in lines, our very own butler, lounge, restaurant, and special considerations elsewhere. We aren’t big drinkers, but the drink package, which was included in the Yacht Club, was handy in that we didn’t worry about running up a cruise bill. We booked our excursions through MSC on the app. They were very reasonably priced, and the tour guides were fantastic and very knowledgeable. Jody booked transfers and extra hotel rooms as needed close to the things that we wanted to see before and after the cruise. Thank you Jo

Great trip to Mexican Riviera

She shared Viator as a company to host our excursions, and we've not had a single negative experience with that company with any of our trips with them. Amazing Vacation!

From the Moment we walked into the Rui, Puerto Vallarta, we knew we had come to the right place. Jody had made this recommendation and she was spot on! We had hardly made it to the front desk for check in and we had a glass of champagne in our hands. Flights and ground transportation to and from the airport easy, organized, timely and very professional. Housekeeping and room service were fantastic. The food and beverage in this all inclusive package was exceptional. We are definitely making plans to return to this venue in the near future! This facility was very beautiful, upscale, yet warm and welcoming. I could go on and on... Amazing Travel Agent

We have been working with Jody since 2004 when she helped us with our first trip to Hawaii. We have used Jody's expertise for several trips since then. She is able to help with travel for the two of us and help with logistics for larger groups. We went to Hawaii in 2019, there were 8 of us, different flights, vehicle rental and lodging . When I use Jody, I don't have any travel issues. We just went to Cancun Mexico with friends. Once again, another amazing trip with no issues. Jody planned our trip from start to finish and it was perfect. We stayed at the Riu Palace. This resort was recently remodeled, and it was beautiful. I cannot say enough good things about Jody, I reached out in April of 2024 to get a trip planned to Jamaica for 2025. I was sent three locations to pick from and went from there. We were about two weeks out from leaving and my husband and I had a gut feeling about traveling to Jamaica, so we decided to cancel our trip all together. I sent an email to Jody letting her know but express how grateful we were for everything she had done for us. I hadn't heard back so I thought I would give her a call. I got a message she was away on vacation and would get back upon her return. I was looking through my emails and seen she had responded back while she was on vacation. Hawaii Trip

She made what started out to be a very chaotic trip into the most amazing and relaxing trip that my husband and I both very much needed!! With our trip starting out with a canceled flight the day before our cruise was to happen we were concerned we would not get to the ship on time. After dealing with a lot of guff on her end with the airports she got us the necessary flights and we made it to our cruise. Jody has been amazing on many occasions when we have traveled, from tropical vacations to long weekends visiting our kids in the Carolinas. (It only lets me list one destination where we traveled, so I used our latest trip.) Sometimes we know where we want to go, and she is awesome at lining everything up for us, so it's worry-free. On other occasions, we haven't even been sure where we wanted to go, but Jody is always willing to go out of her way to give us different options and always finds us something fabulous. From booking the entire trip, including air, hotel, transfers, insurance if needed and anything else necessary, she takes care of it all... the only thing we need to do is pack and show up at the airport on time. For over ten years we have been proud to call Jody Meyer our personal travel agent. In this time, she has prepared vacations to Alaska(twice), but mostly to Mexico. I can remember our first meeting with her and it was like an interview, but later realized she wanted to know our wants, likes, and dislikes, so she could get to know us better. Over the years, she has found some wonderful and memorable vacations. Once I left some personal items in my room in Mexico, learning that one was some medication I had placed in a drawer. I panicked, called Jody and within a half hour she had called the hotel, found a housekeeper to bag up my things and arranged for a taxi to meet me at the airport. What a lifesaver. Where do we start? Our experience started back in March 2015 with a phonecall to Jody. She was extremely accommodating and flexible about finding a time to meet and discuss our honeymoon options. Cruise Vacation

Awesome Trip

Excellent!!! ~ Mexico - Ocean Riviera Paradise ~ Loved the layout and aesthetics of the resort. The staff were top notch and worked very hard . Even though the resort was very busy, it is seemed to flow well. I would not want to stay in the adult only section because there was very loud music playing at the pool all day long, which was right outside the rooms. Even my 28 yr old didn't care to visit that pool. Stayed in the Eden section and stay there again. The food overall was really good and liked no reservations needed except for one restaurant. Saw several weddings on the beach going on and they have a wonderful set up ...if needing that. Beach was very rocky as entering the water and when the waves are coming in you do not see it. I did feel safe at the resort while we were there and felt we would rather stay there than venture out. We have visited Mexico about 25 times through the years and I love Mexico. However, I do not feel safe as I once did.

We took a bucket list trip to Alaska last year to celebrate my husband being cancer free. We had special needs and she made sure everything we needed was in place.
