I have wanted to walk the Camino for many years. The views along the Camino were spectacular as we spent 6 days walking along the coast, through villages, farms and vineyards. We saw beautiful old churches and religious artifacts along the way. Carol made sure that our bags transferred every morning from one hotel to the next and that our rooms were ready when we arrived after a long, exhausting yet exhilarating day. She even planned special surprises along the way. When we arrived in Santiago on our final day we were blown away by the beautiful Cathedral and Hotel. That evening we attended the Pilgrim Mass and she arranged the spectacular use of the Botafumeiro at the end of Mass. Thank you Carol!

I’d call it turnkey travel. From the first offering the itinerary was set and accommodations and events squared away and accurately described. Carol took care of air travel for most of the 60 or so people on this trip, and ours was as good as we could have done it. Room keys and event tickets were always ready for our group on our arrival on the bus. Our guide and driver were lovely; forthcoming and informative. Carol was there with a smile on her face, taking (really nice) photos and ready to help whenever was needed. I might have preferred another hotel at one stop, but let’s face it we were a lot of people to get beds for. I might have slept in a few more mornings, but we sure did see a lot on this trip. Minor gripes. It was a great trip that makes us Carol people even more than we were before.

Our trip to Greece “Following in the footsteps of Paul” was fantastic. I don’t think I have ever met a more organized person than Carol. That’s why I say everything from airport transfers to hotel accommodations, to boarding the ship, to tours, etc. were hassle free. If there was ever a glitch we weren’t aware of it. Being an avid College football fan and a big fan of “College Game Day” late last summer I saw that Game Day would be broadcast from Dublin Ireland and the game to be played was Navy vs. Notre Dame. I joined the Holy Land Pilgrimage with Carol Rowland because of a Flyer with all details-Itinerary, Inclusions, Pricing, etc. Then about once a week, I received information about Israel; preparing, money, hotels, phones, packing, shopping, medical services, weather, clothing, luggage, passport, and many other tips and instructions.

Once we arrived, an Itinerary with Scripture relevant to where we will be that day was provided and nicely bound.
Comfortable buses were provided for transport from one city/hotel to the next. We took lots of pictures and after arrival at home, a Goggle service allowed picture sharing.

On the trip, I needed some extra help on some long walks beyond the bus drop. Carol and some of the others were avail to help.

Carol did a great job organizing and escorting our group of over 65 on our Pilgrimage to the Holy Land. See made sure our requests were honored and wad available anytime. Her proactive communication skills made for a stress-free trip.

It was a "seamless" trip, despite the fact that she was herding 66 people in and out of numbers venues. Each of our destinations was significant and woven into the narrative of our pilgrimage, following the footsteps of Jesus. Carol provided many "extras" that either enhanced our experiences (mud at the Dead Sea!) or eased our manya travel logistics (navigating airports and borders). And Carol's genuinely friendly personality helped a bunch of strangers all mix and mingle and get to know each other.
I would go on another trip with Carol in a heartbeat!

Carol,a trip to the Holy Land has been high on my list for years. Your trip had it all for me, from Nazareth to Bethlehem and of course Jerusalem .Planning, execution, the first class buses, the guides, the places we saw and the dine arounds. Especially enjoyed the Golan Heights and Masada. I am still talking about the Friday evening at the Western Wall and our Shabbat dinner.
I am the world’s pickiest eater and you found good food at every stop. Thank you for all the extras, especially the wine at dinner, hope we did not break the bank drinking your wine.

The trip was filled with so many exciting destinations, that, when we got home, we felt that we had not missed out on one thing.

Carol was wonderful to work with before, during and after our trip. She provided us with a lot of very useful information starting several months before we left. Because of her organization and research of the places we saw, we felt totally prepared for the trip. She had every stop on our itinerary planned to a tee and included several cool surprises like a bucket of mud at the Dead Sea, a vow renewal ceremony at the site of the wedding at Cana and little tokens for us as reminders of the places we had been. She packed so much sight seeing into our days, I can't imagine it being any better! She also took tons of pictures along the way. I would recommend her to anyone planning a trip!
