About Me

Street sculptures in Cancun.
Street sculptures in Cancun.

At the young age of 12 I took my first trip out of the country to Cancun with my family. At 17 I spent a month in Russia - this got me hooked. I tried to go to a different place every year, sometimes only in the USA but also outside of it.

I love experiencing new cultures and food, nature and vibrant cities. I have been to 30ish countries and have enjoyed them all, I hope to pass on my love of travel to all those around me.

Some of my favorite personal travel experiences are:

  • Going inside the Great Pyramid in Cairo, Egypt
  • A self-guided Segway tour of Vienna, Austria
  • Seeing penguins in the wild in the southern part of Chile
  • Checking out the tiny countries of the Vatican and San Marino with my mothers (girls trip!)
  • Scuba diving a sunken city outside of Naples, Italy
  • Scuba diving in the arctic circle - COLD!
  • Roasting in the worlds largest wood fired sauna in Finland, and then jumping into a very cold lake
  • Roasting marshmallows over lava flows in Guatemala
  • Eating 'pizza' in Macedonia - super good - but not what we normally think of as pizza
  • Making Honduran street food at the International Food Truck Festival in Basel, Switzerland
  • Getting coffee out of coffee backpacks from street vendors in Bogota, Colombia

I have been in the travel industry for 6 years, for 4 years running social media and doing back end office work at an agency, then decided to go out on my own as an agent (right before covid).

I am super excited that travel is starting to open up again and can't wait to start planning your amazing vacation and to take some of my own trips!

My Personal Bucket List Trips

Everyone has their own wants and needs for travel, I love talking to clients and finding out what they really want to do and experience in a location.

I always go for the food, but I have many other interests as well. There is always somewhere to go and something to see.

Here are 5 of my personal bucket list trips. What are yours?

  • Oaxaca City, Mexico - for the Day of the Dead (scheduled 2021)
  • Take a cruise to Antarctica
  • Scuba dive the Galapagos
  • Scuba dive the Great Wall of China (yes you can)
  • Take the Trans-Siberian Railroad

Rustic and Decadent Mountain Adventure
Reviewed By Lisa - Pulsbou, WA | Traveled to Honduras ~ Central America
I have now been on a few travel adventures with Kirstin. I really appreciate these trips with her because I'm always confident I'm in secure hands, and she always handles any complications with finesse. She is organized, conscious of travelers' budgets, knowledgeable, and really fun to be around. This excursion was to Pico Bonito (The Villas) on the Rio Cangrejal on the outskirts of La Ceiba. We had some rain, but that didn't ruin our plans. Kirstin came prepared, as usual, with board games and engaging conversation, along with an eclectic group of travelers (who became new friends).
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

"Amazing Adventure Trip!"
Reviewed By "Adventurous Soul" - Bluffton, SC | Traveled to Belize ~ Central America
I would most definitely travel with Kirstin again. I recommend her to anyone who is planning a trip to Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, or another destination. She was organized, took care of all details, spoke fluent Spanish and English. She made my trip to remote parts of Belize Butterly farm , family owned Cocoa farm as well as fishing villages a wonderful experience. We ate at relaxing, small riverfront restaurants and family kitchens. Our travels took us via buses, boats, taxis, and tuk tuks which she had arranged in order to make my vacation just what I wanted. I will travel with Kirstin again and recommend her to others who would like adventure vacations.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

A Great Escape
Reviewed By David B. - Utila, Honduras | Traveled to Honduras ~ Central America
While having been an adventurous traveler in my youth, this was my first experience travelling as a Senior. It was also the first time letting someone else take care of every imaginable detail: all the specifics of travel, connections, accommodation, shopping, supplies and who I would be travelling with. Kirstin did a fantastic job in every respect. Her secret? She works with you to find out exactly what you are looking for and has the local connections and knowledge to make it happen. She's fluent in Spanish, enthusiastic, informative and well-organized, and responsive to the individual requirements of every member of the group.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.
