Best family vacation

Jill was a real pleasure to work with. About 4 years ago we took our whole family to Disney World as a Christmas gift. Jill was extremely helpful from getting us all on the same plane to making reservations for dinners. I don’t know what I would have done without her. There was 32 of us so she was dealing with a lot of people but she made it happen. It was truly a great experience.

Disney Truly Is Magical!!

Jill was wonderful! This was our first trip to Disney with our two children, ages 6 and 9. She helped us plan everything from start to finish. We were especially grateful to have transportation from the airport to the resort and then the resort to the airport. It was seemless and we were so grateful for the ease it was to travel with Dowdy Travel.

Disappointing experience

I contacted Jill for help in planning a family vacation for 11 people. She suggested Beaches, which was a great recommendation. She also found another direct flight when the first one I booked was canceled. Other than that, my experience working with her was very disappointing and frustrating.
I had many questions re: Beaches and rather than answering them herself, she suggested that I call Beaches directly. That is how I found out there was a more economical way to book the 3 rooms we needed, saving over $2,200.
I expected a travel agent to know the most advantageous way for a client to book a resort. She could have easily found out the same information by calling the resort herself. Also, I did not find her responsive in timely answering my emails. Sometimes it took a week to receive an answer. At the company I work for, we are trained to respond to clients within 24-48 hours.

Finally able to go on our trip!

Jill is a pleasure to work with! My family and I were supposed to go on our trip in 2020 then in 2021 but due to COVID we had to reschedule both times. Finally were able to enjoy our trip this summer. Besides helping us with our resort reservations, she helped us set up our dining reservations and other special reservations for my family and I. I enjoyed working with Jill and I definitely recommend her and have recommended her travel services.

Thanks to Dowdy Travel we had a wonderful Disney trip recently. Jill was instrumental in booking the park for us, recommending the perfect place to stay and even booked dinner reservations. Her suggestions helped us navigate what would have been an overwhelming experience with magic bands, lightning lanes etc! Wonderful Memories!

I just want to thank you for all of your help putting this trip together for us! Aruba is absolutely beautiful! We had an amazing time! The Tamarijn and Divi resorts are wonderful. The service and amenities were great! The staff at both resorts were so friendly and accommodating. The food at all of the restaurants were delicious….so many options! We really loved the live bands at the Divi at night.
Overall, Aruba is wonderful!! My daughter and I felt totally safe there. The vibe on the island was very friendly and happy! We will definitely be back!!! We will absolutely refer our friends and family to you! Thank you again for helping us create wonderful memories!!!
