Disney World and Disney Cruise Line Honeymoon

In 2013, my honeymoon was a magical blend of enchantment at Disney World and adventure on the Disney Cruise Line. We savored 10 delightful days at Disney's Wilderness Lodge, immersing ourselves in the wonders of the parks. Following this enchanting escapade, we embarked on a voyage to Port Canaveral, where the magnificent Disney Dream awaited us for a captivating 4-day Bahamas Cruise.

Our journey was sprinkled with special moments, like horseback riding amidst the rustic charm of Fort Wilderness and indulging in exquisite dining experiences across the Disney parks. From the culinary delights of Le Cellier in Canada at Epcot to the panoramic views of California Grill at the Contemporary Resort and the enchanting ambiance of Be Our Guest, each meal was a culinary symphony.

With a generous 10-day window to explore the Disney World property, we luxuriated in the experience without the pressure to rush through. On the cruise, we savored the flavors of Palo and explored the secluded adults-only enclave of Castaway Cay, where we swam with stingrays for a thrilling adventure.

Opting for serenity, we chose to remain on board during our stop in Nassau, relishing the ship's amenities in solitude. The tranquil spa and the deserted pool deck lent an air of exclusivity, making us feel as though we had a private yacht to ourselves, with only a handful of fellow travelers.

Disney proved to be an unexpectedly romantic backdrop for our honeymoon. We adorned ourselves with bride and groom ears, indulged in pampering spa treatments, and partook in extra activities that heightened our sense of bliss and made us feel like we were truly in paradise.
