After landing at Dublin Airport, complete customs and immigration formalities. Your driver/guide will welcome you to Ireland and escort you and your luggage to the coach. Next, join a local guide for a walking tour of historical Dublin. See the Old Irish Parliament, Dublin Castle, City Hall, the Medieval and Viking Quarter. Also, walk along the pedestrianized Grafton Street, Henry Street and Nassau Street, all with busy shoppers roaming the streets. See the famous Temple Bar and many other key places within the city. Stop to visit Teeling Distillery to learn about finely aged whiskey and sample the finish product. If time permits, you enjoy a cocktail or two at the Bang Bang Bar or grab some locally sourced food at the Phoenix Cafe. Motor a short distance to your hotel, check in and enjoy some free time before joining your fellow travelers for a welcome drink. Spend the entire day at leisure to relax or sightsee and explore in Dublin. Use your Hop on Hop off pass to visit a number of places so you can get better acquainted with the city. Also using your voucher, you may visit either EPIC Ireland or the Guinness Storehouse. If you choose to visit EPIC Ireland, learn about the dramatic story of the spread of Irish culture around the globe, and how Ireland has changed throughout the years. If you decide to visit the Guinness Storehouse, enjoy a tour of the distillery and tasting of the finished product. Departing Dublin, drive south to see the delightful scenery of the Wicklow Mountains. This mountain range runs north to south across County Wicklow with its highest peak, Lugnaquilla, at 3039 feet. The entire mountain region is frequented, especially on weekends, by Dubliners, for its scenery and outdoor recreation. Stop to visit the 6th century monastic ruins of Glendalough. The visitor centre explains how St. Kevin founded this settlement at a time when Christianity was burgeoning throughout Ireland. Then, travel to just outside of the charming village of Enniskerry to visit Powerscourt House, the former home of Lord Powerscourt. While here, experience the delightful terraced Italian gardens and abundant floral displays shrubs and flowers.. Continue your journey into Kilkenny and set off on a guided walking tour of the town. . In the evening, join your fellow travelers for dinner in the hotel restaurant. This morning, set off to explore the Ring of Kerry, which consist of over 100 miles of marvelous scenery. See some of Ireland's highest peaks on one side of the road and a coastline scattered with golden beaches and rocky headlands on the other. There will also be plenty of stops to take-in the scenery and to snap photos. Next, travel to the Gap of Dunloe to visit Moriarty's Gift Shop. Since the shop opened in 1964, Moriarty's has become a landmark destination for shoppers. While here, enjoy a classic Irish lunch at Heather's Restaurant, which is in the Moriarty's Gift Shop. After, continue your drive along Moll's Gap, a panoramic route visited by thousands of tourists each year. After, drive into Derry and join a local guide for a walking tour to see the Guildhall, St. Columb's Cathedral, the Diamond and the 16th century walls. Continue your travel into Dublin, check into your hotel and enjoy some time at leisure before this evening's farewell festivities. Tonight, enjoy dinner at the Glyde Inn, which also offers breathtaking views of Dundalk Bay. Glyde Inn is recognized for its quality and excellent food, which is locally sourced.
