Kenai Fjords Cruise: From Seward, I boarded a glacier and wildlife cruise into the heart of Kenai Fjords National Park. We passed puffin-covered cliffs, watched humpback whales breach, and stood in awe before the mighty Holgate Glacier. Lunch was served onboard as eagles soared overhead.

Helicopter & Dog Sledding on Godwin Glacier: One of the most surreal experiences of my life—flying by helicopter to a remote glacier, where a team of sled dogs eagerly pulled me across pristine snow. Afterward, I played with the puppies and chatted with real Iditarod mushers. Magical.

Guided Glacier Hike: On foot, I explored Exit Glacier’s dramatic terrain, led by a local naturalist who shared insights into the glacial formations and ecology. The scale of Alaska’s natural forces became strikingly real on that hike.

Tundra Wilderness Bus Tour: For a deeper look into Denali National Park, I joined a guided bus tour beyond the public-access point, gaining access to remote areas where bears, wolves, and eagles roam. We spotted wildlife in its raw, untouched habitat—an absolute thrill.

Ziplining Through the Boreal Forest: Adrenaline and scenery collided as I soared above the treetops on a zipline course near Denali. Suspended walkways and high-speed runs through alpine forest created a high-flying, heart-pounding memory I won’t soon forget.

Gold Mining & Riverboat Discovery in Fairbanks: I ended the trip panning for real gold at El Dorado Gold Mine and cruising the Chena River on a classic paddleboat.
