Hi Fellow Travelers! I have been planning trips for family and friends since I was in my 20's and I joined Travel Leaders in 2020 to share my expertise and plan memorable trips for others! I have traveled to all 7 continents and so far, 72 countries. Some of the highlights of my trips include Hadrian's Wall in Britain, Roman ruins throughout Europe, Egyptian Pyramids, China's Terracotta Warriors and Great Wall, The Dead Sea and Petra in Jordan, Machu Picchu and Nazca Lines in Peru, a charging elephant in Tanzania, animal migration in Kenya, and Great Barrier Reef in Australia. I have visited these places and more via escorted tours, cruises, and independent travel. I have experience in all types of travel. Whether you want to cruise to your destination, tour your destination in a vehicle, or travel on your own, I can make it happen! I have cruised the Amazon River, through the Panama Canal, around the Southern tip of South America, the Caribbean, and the Mediterranean. I have completed a couple of whirl wind tours of Europe and toured Eastern/Central Australia. I have also taken detailed circular tours through France and Britain and much of the United States. I have cruised the rivers of the Danube, the Rhine, and the Nile -- a very convenient way of travel as river cruises are able to "park" in the center of the cities being visited. Adventure, Animals, Historical Sites, Fun!
Whenever I travel, I try to include some mixture of adventure, animal sightseeing, historical sites, and of course, fun! Some of my highlights include camel riding in Egypt, horseback riding in the Alaskan frontier, cave tubing in Belize, catching Alaskan king crabs & Maine lobsters, parasailing on Mexican beaches, zip lining and watching sea turtles lay eggs in Costa Rica, viewing macaws in Bonito, Brazil, climbing waterfalls in Dominican Republic, petting stingrays in the Caribbean, and viewing giant land tortoises in the Galapagos. What animal would you like to see? What adventure would you like to participate? I love history and love learning the history of the places I travel. Klaudia planned two of the best trips that my family and I have ever taken! The first trip was a Hawaiian cruise. Some of the activities included ziplining, snorkeling with large turtles and other fish. We also hiked on an inactive volcano and in a rainforest! The cruise ship had great amenities and excellent food!
The second trip was a vacation in Puerto Rico! We stayed at a wonderful resort that had lots of great restaurants! The resort faced a beautiful calm ocean. We kayaked to a nearby island and collected shells. My kids loved this activity. One night we kayaked in a canal surrounded by mangroves. The canal opened into a beautiful bay that was filled with Bioluminescent Plankton. The water was beautiful! As I moved my hand through the water, it looked as if diamonds were dripping from my fingers! This was one of the most beautiful phenomenons I have ever seen.
Klaudia took care of all of the details for us. We just went and had fun! She is the best!
