Multi Generational Travel

Looking back, our trips to Walt Disney World and the Carolina beaches when we included the grandparents are some of my most fond vacation memories. Even as a child, I have fond memories of traveling to the Carolinas with my ENTIRE extended family year after year.

Multi generational travel is on trend.  I book MANY families on multi generational trips each year to various destinations.  Why?  Because travelers realize the importance of creating those memories-life is short!  It's great to take advantage of the time when your parents are able to travel, so your children can enjoy their favorite destinations with them. They will have a heart full of memorable experiences to look back on as time goes by.

What are the best destinations for a multi generational trip? Cruising is PERFECT for a multi generational trip.  When you embark on a cruise, you are embarking on an adventure that has something for everyone!  Another great option is an all-inclusive resort.  Both of these experiences give you time to enjoy meals and activities as an extended family, while also offering plenty of areas to relax and enjoy time as a couple or individual.

Why take the grandparents along?  Why not? Stronger bonds are made when families travel together.  With busy lives and geographic distances separating family members, travel provides a chance to strengthen family ties and create lasting memories.

What is the main benefit of multi generational travel?  Grandparents may want to create cherished memories with their grandchildren, and multi-generational travel allows them to do just that. It can also be educational!  Travel can be a fantastic educational experience, and different generations can learn from each other. For example, grandparents can share their historical knowledge about a destination, and grandchildren can introduce new technologies and cultural trends.
