First Time to Italy

Explore the city. Visit the sites like the Spanish Steps and the Trevi Fountain but also take time to sit in a cafe and enjoy some wonderful wine and pasta. Book a tour to Vatican City!

Spend the day seeing the magnificent sites like the Colosseum and Pantheon. Wander through old neighborhoods and visit the Jewish Ghetto. Take a guided tour so you can learn about the history and culture of this iconic city.

Visit the galleries of Florence to see the statue of David and other renown works of art. Visit Ponte Vecchio, the iconic bridge where handcrafts have been for centuries. Make a reservation to climb the Duomo tower.

Book a cooking class, maybe in a farmhouse in the Tuscan countryside. Sip a local wine as you learn to make pasta or pizza and taste some real gelato.

Take a day trip to Cinque Terre. These five beautiful villages have a wonderful history, built into the side of the hill. The bright paint makes a delightful photo against the blue water. Be sure to bring your swimsuit for a dip at the beach. You'll want to take the train from village to village or take a boat ride.

With a water taxi from the train station you know you are starting this leg of the journey with a delight. Wander the pedestrian only streets of Venice, check out the alleyways and small bridges. There are many quaint restaurants and shops off the beaten path to be found.

Spend the morning checking out the Catacombs of Rome are ancient catacombs, underground burial places in and around Rome, of which there are at least forty, some rediscovered only in recent decades. Book a tour to learn the history. Then hop the train to Florence! Sit back and relax as you watch the Italian countryside go by.
