Overlooking Seward Alaska

Having sailed Alaska with three incredible cruise lines,

I bring firsthand experience and insider tips for unforgettable journey.

What keeps me coming back to Alaska are the contrasts: the wide, quiet stretches of Denali set against the energy of small villages, or how every turn seems to open up a new view. A cruisetour really gives you both sides — the calm pace of the coast and the incredible landscapes inland. One day you might be watching whales and sea otters from the ship, and the next you’re riding a glass-domed train through changing scenery with mountains coming into view.Being in Glacier Bay was one of my favorite moments — surrounded by blue ice and watching a glacier calve. It’s the kind of experience that sticks with you. Some of the highlights I’ve enjoyed most are simple but unforgettable: whale watching because there’s nothing like seeing a breach or tail slap up close; Denali National Park with the space, the quiet, and the chance to spot wildlife; the dome train with its great views, a cozy seat, and the landscape rolling by; Totem poles in Sitka National Historical Park that are full of history and stories; and, stopping in small towns to enjoy the shops, cafés, and the people that make it special.Skagway is one spot I especially love. It’s small, welcoming, and full of character with its wooden sidewalks and Gold Rush history. The White Pass & Yukon Route train is a must with its sharp turns, steep drops, and incredible mountain views. If you’re dreaming of Alaska, there are so many ways to make it your own. Let me help you plan your next Alaskan adventure.
