I was "born" into the travel industry when my parents owned and operated their own travel agency in 1977 with two locations in the suburbs of Milwaukee, WI until they sold it to my oldest brother in the early 2000s, and eventually became part of the Travel Leaders network.

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin - Stout with a bachelor's degree in hotel and restaurant management as well as a minor in tourism.  I then moved to Las Vegas in 1990 to start a career in the hospitality industry, and then returned to Wisconsin in 1994 for four years to work as the Group Director for the family's agency.  I then returned to Las Vegas to continue my career in hospitality sales and marketing at a major casino resort on the Strip.

Thanks primarily to my parents as well as my own career choices, I have traveled extensively over the past four decades.  When possible, I have purposely chosen as many different destinations as possible since my passion is learning about different cultures with real life experiences.

As the sole owner, I deliberately chose the name "Edify Travel" as I believe tourism in all its different forms is one of the greatest means of enlightenment and instruction that uplifts the human spirit.

I strive to provide personalized service in the digital age, offering my experience along with the convenience of technology to my clients.
