Originally from Kansas City, Missouri, I am a lifelong Disney enthusiast. I have a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Webster Conservatory of Theatre Arts in St. Louis, and for the past two decades I have called Iowa home.

Most people would say, and It would be difficult to argue, that I have an incurable case of wanderlust.

From my first international flight with my parents at age 10 for a three-week tour of Europe, through my most recent escape with friends to Disney World, my life has been filled with the joy, wonder, and adventure of travel.

In my 40+ years of navigating the globe I've managed to visit all seven continents and rack up more than a few frequent-flier miles along the way. Most importantly, however, I spent cherished time with family and friends creating countless travel memories that will last a lifetime:

I've flown over the Serengeti in a hot air balloon, and ridden a camel in the shadow of the Great Pyramid. I've been snorkeling at the Great Barrier Reef, attended Opening Day Ceremonies at EPCOT, and rode a mule to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. I've climbed the ancient stone steps of Skellig Michael (a.k.a. Luke’s isolated retreat in the recent Star Wars films), and sailed through the Panama Canal on the QE2. And I still experience a rush of pure joy every time I feel those airplane wheels touch down in Orlando. Travel can relax, educate, and inspire.
