I have travelled to Hawaii and can honestly say that it is an amazing experience. Kauai is beautiful but my favorite part of it was the chickens that are running around everywhere! When my husband and I exited the terminal at Lihue airport I couldn't believe my eyes, and my ears. They were everywhere! Even at the Marriott resort that we stayed at. The resort was beautiful and as an added plus the hotel restaurant was Dukes. Don't miss their Hula pie! You will not be sorry. We also traveled by inter island flight to Oahu where we stayed at a Hilton Garden Inn on Waikiki Beach. Great location. We went to Pearl Harbor and the Polynesian Cultural Center booked through Viator. I also climbed Diamond Head. OMG what a view! On the way home we stopped in SF for a few nights and stayed at the Parc 55, a Hilton property. Beautiful hotel located close to the Powell Street cable car turnaround which gave us the opportunity to ride it down to Fisherman's Wharf. Do not miss this experience!
