My Husband and I, along with our 5 kids and 31 of our most favorite people visited Riviera Maya, Mexico in December. While we had the most beautiful and fun time, we also got married! My latest trip to Australia could’ve turned into a nightmare of cancelled connections and money lost if it weren’t for the quick response of my amazingly resourceful travel agent, Lori Smith. My flight from Edmonton to Vancouver before my flight to Brisbane had been cancelled. My first (panicked!) call was to Lori , as I ran like a madwoman to the carrier counter to see what I could do to get to Vancouver on time. The lady there said the only option was to wait for a morning flight , which was not going to work. She kindly offered to look at other airlines for me , when all of a sudden she asks if I have someone else working on this as well , to which I replied , “yes , my trusty travel agent is on it”. She told me that somehow , Lori managed to work a miracle and get me on the next flight out and I better run to my gate to make it in time! This was all after hours and above and beyond the call of duty. She saved the day and I'll never travel without her making the arrangements again!

Our great experience with Lori started with her giving us many options and information about destinations in our price range, once we picked one our job was done. She hooked us up with a travel app with our itinerary and tour options for our destination. She signed us up for Club Mobay passes which fast tracked us through security and into a lounge with free food, drinks, and wifi until our bus showed up. Although we didn’t have the greatest weather during our trip we still really enjoyed what our hotel (Iberostar Rose Hall Beach in Jamaica) had to offer. I would never plan another destination holiday without Lori.

Why I book with a Travel Agent and why she is the best and I always recommend her.
West Jet cancelled our flights to Mexico due to the weather. Lori informed me right away about the delayed flight.
When we were travelling in to the city and got the notification our plane was cancelled she got her laptop out and was on the phone calling trying to get us on a flight. We continued to the airport to see if they could get us on another flight.
Found out because we booked through West Jet Vacations and the cancellation effected our hotel, they could not help us at the airport.
Let’s just say 5-1/2 hours later Lori got through and got us rebooked. We didn’t fly out until 3 days later but we got bumped to Premium seat and got an upgraded room at our resort.

Great trip and easy to manage through. Between the travel app and great Customer Service from our agent Lori, it was an ease to maneuver everything and enjoy it all with no worries at all.

We had a wonderful trip to Atelier, Playa Mujeres. The resort was beautiful and very fancy. It was a bit confusing finding our way around but after a couple of days, we had it down. They provided rides with golf carts which we used a few times to get around. The food was really good at all the places we tried and the service was great. We enjoyed using the relaxing pool by our building. It was quieter and we had no trouble finding chairs and towels. The beach was beautiful and clean. Would definitely recommend this Resort to our friends! Thanks Lori for making this trip happy for us!

We stayed at Atelier Playa Mujeres in Mexico for our honeymoon, and we booked through Lori for our trip. It was AMAZING! We loved every second of this trip, we had 9 beautiful days playing golf doing some excursions, relaxing by the poolside or beach! The service was great and the food/drinks were even better. Not a super busy resort as well so you don’t feel crowded at all which is something we quite enjoyed as well! This trip was great and checked all of our boxes for a vacation/honeymoon! Our trip was wonderful from start to finish. We worked with our travel agent Lori to pick the resort that fit the needs of our family. We booked our flights separately from our hotel on our own so Lori booked us our airport transfers which went smoothly each way.

The Barcelo Palace is a beautiful resort on a private beach with world class snorkelling off the beach. We enjoyed the stay at 1 and play at 5 and we used the amenities at all of the resorts. We were happy that we upgraded to a premium pool view. The location was perfect and we could easily pop back up to our room during the day since we were facing the pool and beside the beach. The buffet, beach grills and a la cartes that we went to were delicious. The staff were very helpful, hard working and kind. The grounds were immaculate and we enjoyed going for a daily walk through them.

We spent a week at Excellence El Carmen in Punta Cana. Amazing resort. Pure luxury. The staff was incredible and the food delicious. HUGE shout out to Lori for taking care of everything. From the upgraded flights, the VIP airport service, private transfers, and upgraded rooms there wasn’t a single thing she didn’t think of. Hands down the best All-Inclusive vacation yet.
