A taste of Alaska
When we debark the ship we can head down town past the ships and shops..There is Tracy Crab Shack for fresh King crab, or the Alaskan Brewery for fresh brewed beer. A little further down is the Red Dog Saloon where we must have a Duckfart, the shot of Alaska. We had a small outside eatery with local seafood, and Alaskan recipe set up in a food truck fashion.. I enjoyed 3 fish taco SAMPLER. Delicious, After lunch we stroll back down to the ship,

A train ride, motor coach, & tour
When you get off the ship, i suggest a quick stroll through town visiting the historical monuments. When your time is called we take the motor coach, north to the Canadian Boarder, crossing into the Yukon ( Passport Required). We visit Car cross and the desert. We see Iditarod Puppies, and sled teams, have a BBQ lunch, and see the town of Carcross. The totem poles are amazing, and as we drive back to the border we get off in Frasier and Board the train for a 27 mile ride. Where we see 3 of the 4 biomes, the snow, the half way mark of the gold miners. There is also a story of what we would have gone through 100 plus years ago. When we get to the base of the mountain, we see our ships in Skagway and a caboose that you cab rustic camp in for 48 hours at a time. The sweet town of Skagway has a brewery and the Red Onion Brothel now its retired but history is throughout the building.
