About Me

I am always excited to book travel for trips to the Dominican Republic. There is no better escape to recommend. As your Dominican Republic travel agent professional, I can book a trip that will meet both your expectations and plans for a rewarding escape and holiday. The Caribbean nation of the Dominican Republic is located to the west of Haiti on the island of Hispaniola. It is renowned for its golfing, resorts, and beaches. Its landscape consists of hills, grasslands, and rainforests, including Pico Duarte, the tallest mountain in the Caribbean. The Gothic Catedral Primada de America in Santo Domingo's Zona Colonial area is a five-century-old Spanish landmark. Therefore, you can enjoy both history and beach life when you land in the Dominican Republic. If you’re a golfer, you will, indeed, find this an idyllic location to hone your golf skills while experiencing the island’s tranquility. The good news is that you don’t have to confine yourself to a beach resort if you don’t want to. You can visit many popular sights in DR as an independent traveler. If you desire to embrace beach life, but want to avoid the crowds, you might consider heading toward the remote corners of southwest  DR.When you take this route, you’ll discover the breathtaking sands of the Jaragua Peninsula. Also, you’ll find more accessible beaches scattered around the Samana Peninsula. Samana is also a great spot to check out the humpback whales that migrate each winter to Bahia de Semana. You might also take a trip to Las Terrenas, the Samana Peninsula’s liveliest and most vibrant town and resort. Other beaches in the area that are well worth seeing include Las Ballenas, Coson, and Bonita. In addition, you’ll find cays off-shore that are homes to underwater caverns, including Dudu Cave. Along Pueblo de los Pescadores, close to the water, eateries and bars abound that feature open-air seating.Of course, no visit to DR is complete without seeing the capital of Santo Domingo, a place that is both urban and modern but also offers plenty of historic attractions and churches. I suggest you visit Zona Colonial to learn more about the capital and its intriguing sights. You don't need to look very far if you're looking for a little more adventure and outdoor life. The largest mountain range on the island, the Cordillera Central, offers a breathtaking backdrop for multi-day hikes through the wilderness to the summit of Pico Duarte, the tallest peak in the Antilles. You’ll also like your treks to Jarabacoa, a resort town that features water sports and some amazing cascades.I must encourage you to visit El Limon, a waterfall hidden in the Samana Mountains. You can get there on horseback. This waterfall represents one of the loveliest spots on the island.I know you’re going to love DR as much as I like serving as a travel agent expert for the Dominican Republic. Let me plan a trip that you soon will not forget. Give me a call today and let’s begin planning your travel itinerary now.

Fabulous
Reviewed By Cindy R - Atlanta, Georgia | Traveled to Miami ~ Florida ~ USA
I am big shopper and find my way to Miami every few months to visit the Design District and shops in SoBe. Over the past twenty years I have probably stayed in thirty hotels in Brickell and Miami Beach but always like to try my hand at a new property to switch things up. While my last travel advisor, Miss Ginger, retired, I was nervous to try someone new out. Let me just tell you, Matt is young and vibrant, eager to help cater to your every need. He chose the best flight times, hotel, and boat charters and kept in contact with me throughout the whole process. He definitely has a taste for luxury so keep that in mind when choosing to work with him (a plus for me but maybe not for a backpacker??).
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Best of the Best
Reviewed By Borris M - New York, New York | Traveled to Turks and Caicos Islands ~ Caribbean
I think Matt is the best of the best. Already referred him to friends and family. Well worth the planning fee he charged for our group of 20. Gave us great rates on the resorts and found very affordable airfare.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Good Honesty
Reviewed By Curt F - Saranac, NY | Traveled to South Beach ~ Florida ~ USA
Matt is super nice and respectful. Very pleasant to work with but be prepared for his honesty. We were planning a trip to South Beach because we have not been since the 80's. After expressing that we wanted to stay on Ocean Drive, Matt simply told us that is "not a wise move". Well good thing we took his advice, because Ocean Drive is not the place it used to be! Miami Beach is still incredible and with his recommendations, you will have a great time. Best advice? Listen to his! Will use him again for our next trip.
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

Client Testimonials

Business Retreat
All of our travel agents in the past never truly cared to help us or understand our business. Matt not only did an incredible job planning our small business incentive trip, but he also took the time to understand our business and needs. We won't ever use a large corporate travel agency again!

"So welcoming to all of our questions and will do anything to make sure your vacation is perfect. We loved his youthful energy and communication. No matter what the problem is, he is there to help you every step of the way. He handles large groups amazingly and no task is too big. I suggest booking with Matt if you do not want the stress of booking your holiday but still would like to have input in your travel itinerary!"
