Explorer, Map Reader, and Travel Specialist
I’ve traveled all my life. In the US I have visited 48 states and 4 Canadian provinces. I visited Mexico, Canada, Japan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Germany, France, and United Kingdom. I like to go to cool places and do epic things.
I have a strange hobby, I like to participate in long endurance events, some lasting more than 60 hours straight. I did one a few years ago on the “Wild” Great Wall of China, a section which is untouched and rarely visited by normal tourists. Sadly I have not found any pictures of me on the Wall, but I have memories and stories which will remain with me as long as I live. Now that we are passed the pandemic years, I look forward to getting back to these ultra events.
For over a year, I worked on a Sportfishing charter boat in Honolulu, Hawaii, taking clients out to catch some big fish, like Marlins, Yellowfin Tuna (Ahi), Mahi Mahi, and Ono (Wahoo). Seeing parts of the island from the water not seen by many who visit the Island of Oahu. Getting to experience being aboard the boat while surrounded by a pod of porpoises or dolphins swimming beside. Or humpback whales breaking out of the water in pairs or a mother with her calf. Sometimes closer to the harbor, the boat would have to maneuver to avoid the path of larger ships, or US Navy submarines coming out of Pearl Harbor. These are experiences that left an impression on me and our clients leaving us with great memories.
So that is why I am a travel adviser. I want to help others travel and experience the wonders of the world. In Hawaii, the locals like to say, “talk story”, this is what I want for my clients. Travel is about experiencing, and coming back home to share stories of your travels.
Visit Cool Places and Do Epic Things or Relax
Traveling to me is always an adventure. When I worked in sales and had to drive to visit my customers, I enjoyed those little moments of discovery on the road. Personally, I like exploring when given a chance to.
On my first visit to Paris I rushed to see all the major sites I could in two days, it was all exciting for me. I enjoyed it. Then again, it’s sometimes better to go somewhere and just relax and enjoy the present, like sitting at the beach and hearing the soft waves on the sand or sitting under the shade of a tree, sitting in a park of a foreign city and just enjoying the moment. Or go crazy and climb a volcano. Good times.
I love that I am in the business of helping people find their epic moments and have a good time traveling.
