About Me

As an award-winning agent who's been in the travel industry for over 34+ years, I also traveled a lot since my father was a US Diplomat when I was growing up.  My dedication to customer service is what has impressed my clients the most. I started at United Airlines and due to being transferred to California I began working at an American Express Travel Agency. It is there that I was introduced to and fell in love with cruising. Transferred back to Virginia, I have been a Corporate Travel Consultant for several Fortune 500 companies such as NCI, Inc., Vance Security, Orbital Sciences Corp. and AOL/Time Warner, Fiserv, Trane and more. I’ve assisted with individual and business travel. I have also been a Groups and Meetings Coordinator for many years.

I am an ACC- Accredited Cruise Counselor, Certification through CLIA. Plus, many other travel industry certifications. "Aim for 110% or more in Customer Service, professionalism and customer satisfaction", that has been my personal motto for all my years in the travel industry. Travel is personal. ***** When it came to planning our vacation to Italy, I knew there was no way I could do it myself, I had no time to do anything! Thank goodness a friend recommended Terry & Erik Jones with Travel Lady Vacations. I told them our ideas and dates and they made it happen. There were so many moving pieces- flights, TSA advice, airline membership points, 7 night cruise, off shore excursions (5), 3 different countries, airport shuttles, hotels, hotel shuttles and extra excursions while in Rome. They handled all details flawlessly! They also sent me a live app, so that I could communicate with them if needed while we were out of the country. You have to have a lot of trust when working with a travel agent as you are sharing a lot of personal information and Terry and Erik are the most professional agents I have ever worked with. They were always available to answer questions and I had many. I highly recommend them to anyone taking a trip, no matter how large or small. They are amazing!
