After countless trips to Disney destinations, we did what many suggested and joined the travel industry in 2017. Since then, we've expanded our specialities to include cruises, all-inclusive resorts and more! 

My career in travel began in the airline industry, where I spend 10+ years working for Continental and Southwest Airlines. After earning my bachelor's degree in communications, I spent 10 years working in Division I college athletics, where I traveled extensively with several sports. I transitioned to a non-athletics communications job at Arkansas State University, but the desire to travel pulled me back into the industry and after seven years I did what many travel advisors have done - got my feet wet in the profession with a "side gig." While it was indeed a side job, my wife Katey and I determined that it would never be a hobby - but something that we would take seriously and educate ourselves in the profession – to be the best we could personally be. We set a goal of agency ownership relatively early and the opportunity arose in 2021 to form our own agency. We have grown rapidly and along the way have encountered both enormous challenges and enormous blessings. Katey and I make all of our decisions together and we have a team of independent contractors who are loyal to us because we operate with transparency and fairness. We follow the "Golden Rule" with regards to the way we treat our team members and realize that with big opportunities come big responsibilities. We strive to help our team members grow professionally and expand the boundaries of what they offer to their guests. We truly believe that we have only scratched the surface with regards to what Take The Vacation can become and accomplish.
