It's as if Emily can read my mind. She's always one step ahead of me, knowing exactly what I'm looking for. She understands the travel business better than anyone I've ever used and I never feel like she's trying to push the more expensive trip on me. She knows the best places to visit and where to stay when I get there. She offers suggestions and alternatives without imposing her own likes and dislikes. She is honest and knowledgeable and fun to work with!

Emily shows genuine interest in what we want to accomplish when we plan a trip. She helps us to be realistic about how much time we need in a particular area. She exudes confidence in our ability to get around on our own in foreign countries, and she's right! She knows the kinds of hotels we prefer (small, boutique) and helps us to find just the right place to stay. She makes everything so easy, even to telling us which way to turn in the Oslo airport to get the train out to the center! She gives us options for flights, helpfully pointing out the advantages and disadvantages of different flight times. Emily negotiated with the cruise line, getting us precisely the room that we preferred and at the best possible price. She tells us the different options for getting to and from the ship, to and from the airport, and makes suggestions based on how well she knows us. She organizes all of the paperwork chronologically and goes over everything with us before we leave the country, prepaying hotel costs and certain other costs so that we don't have to deal with that once we arrive; we just present the voucher she has provided. This review is based on a trip that we took in the spring of 2012 where we were partly on a ship and then spent several days on our own in Copenhagen and Stockholm; she made everything so easy that we felt confident that we'd do just fine. And we did. Emily has helped us with many, many trips (three in the current year!) and we hope we will have her help with many more. About the only thing she doesn't do for us is take care of our dog while we're away, and that's probably only because we never asked!

In the past year, Emily has booked our honeymoon, trips to visit family and is now working on scheduling college visits. We have stayed in several unique and charming hotels which have made our travels very comfortable and interesting. It is because of Emily's expertise that we were able to visit these quaint properties which have had exquisite architecture and outstanding staffing.

Emily coordinated our family trip to Ireland - 29 of us from age 6 months to 86 years! - and everything went flawlessly. She dealt with our requests, small to big, with professionalism and courtesy at all times. It was a pleasure to let Emily assist with creating our itinerary, finding us a private tour company and the most perfect tour guide in all of Ireland. Our family was able to see many of the sites of our ancestors but still enjoy lots of family time. I've been fortunate to work with Emily over a number of years on planning trips.
