Finding a local coffee farm while exploring Oahu

I love planning and taking unique trips. What I typically like to do is to have a trip that has some touristy parts and some unique aspects. The two trip examples below are ones that my husband and I have taken that I have used as a basis for some of my clients. 

When visiting Oahu, Hawaii, my husband and I spent 5 our of our 6 days outside of the resort exploring the beautiful island of Oahu. We did some touristy things like Pearl Harbor and Waikiki Beach. However, we also went to some local breweries, talked with the locals, and discovered some amazing hikes and lookouts. While most people were relaxing on the beach, we were exploring this beautiful island with it's lush flora and relaxing beaches. 

I've also sailed to Alaska twice with my husband. While we sailed the same itinerary we did something different in each port. However, my favorite thing to do was to walk around, get to know the port town, find the best smoked salmon chowder, and have some great local beer. We also went on adventurous excursions that brought us face to face with sea otters, rode horses through some stunning mountains and watched salmon swim upstream.
