Netherlands Expert, Heritage and Family Vacations

Our family was able to trace our ancestry back to southern Netherlands in the 1500s, in the province of Zeeland, and the city of Waarde.  Based on the family lineage, I created a trip that explores much of the country while being centered in Amsterdam.  Amsterdam, and the Netherlands in general, has an amazing transportation system which makes travel easy.  Here is the nine day agenda I created:

 From the central hub of Amsterdam, we were able to visit many of the amazing things the country has to offer, such as windmills, cheese, clogs, European soccer, museums, canal cruises, and so much more.  The country is so close to England, France, Belgium and Germany, visiting these cities is absolutely possible.  We chose to do a more in depth look at just the Netherlands. The southern portion of our trip was much less structure and we hire a tour guide to take us to the family places we wanted to visit.  Netherlands has so much to offer and I fully recommend a trip.
