Meet tour director and group in Paris and head to Normandy
Passengers are greeted at Charles de Gaulle Airport in Paris and ride by coach to Normandy. In the evening, there is an introduction to the tour and a chance for our passengers to meet and greet each other over a drink and dinner.

Omaha Beach
We start the day at Pointe du Hoc where the US 2nd and 5th Ranger Battalions fought their way up to the high cliffs of the Normandy coastline, led by Lieutenant Colonel James Earl Rudder. After learning about the importance of and the sacrifice made by the Rangers, we drive down to Omaha Beach, also known as „bloody Omaha”. Our local historian guides us through the events of the landing, and we also have the opportunity to walk in the sand where it all happened. In the afternoon, we visit the Normandy American Cemetery and Memorial that honors American troops who paid the ultimate sacrifice during the Battle of Normandy.

Utah Beach in Normandy
On this day, we focus on the American landing beach of Utah. Besides exploring the monuments on the shore, we have the chance to visit one of the largest museums along the Normandy coastline, the Utah Beach Museum, with its rich collection of WWII objects and vehicles. We continue our journey to Sainte-Mere-Eglise, the first town to be liberated in Europe, to learn about the paratroopers’ heroic actions.

Normancy British Beaches
Our visit to Normandy would not be complete without visiting all five landing beaches. This day is dedicated to the fellow British and Canadian forces who contributed to the success of the Allied war effort. We start the day with visiting the unique German battery of Longues-sur-Mer where the naval guns are still in their original position. Following a scenic drive along the coast, we stop by Gold Beach at Arromanches where we see the remains of the Mulberry harbour. In the afternoon we are guided by Canadians at Juno Beach, where Major-General Rod Keller’s warriors came ashore. We conclude the day with a stop at Sword Beach, followed by a visit to the Pegasus Bridge Memorial.

This morning, we visit the sites of the Battle of the Bulge, the foxholes of Bois Jacques, and the military vehicles at the Bastogne Barracks. In the afternoon, we have the chance to visit one of the WWII-related museums in town, or just to relax and enjoy a Belgian beer.

Dachau and Munich
We begin by exploring the somber site of the first Nazi concentration camp, where we can pay our respects to the victims of Hitler’s genocide. We then head to Munich to learn about the Third Reich on a walking tour downtown. At the end of the day, we invite you for dinner in one of the historical beerhalls of the Bavarian capital.

Eagle's Nest
Our journey culminates with a day trip to the Bavarian Alps where we visit Hitler’s Eagle’s Nest, the iconic teahouse on top of the Kehlstein mountain. The day ends with a chance for reflection and socializing over a farewell dinner.
