I’ve been in the travel industry since 1990, and after all these years, my favorite part of the business is still the people. I’ve never met a stranger, and I love getting to know what excites someone about travel. Some people want to completely unplug and relax. Some want adventure and energy. Some are celebrating a milestone birthday, anniversary, retirement, or finally taking the big trip they’ve talked about for years. Whatever the reason, I enjoy helping people create experiences that feel personal, memorable, and easy from the very beginning.

If you’ve followed our YouTube channel, then you probably already know I’m not a sit-behind-the-desk type of travel advisor. I love sharing destinations, talking travel, hosting group trips, and helping travelers experience places in a way that feels exciting instead of overwhelming. Travel should be fun long before you ever get on the plane.

One thing I hear all the time is, “There are just too many options.” And honestly, people are right. Between online reviews, social media opinions, cruise lines, room categories, and thousands of resorts, planning travel today can feel exhausting before it even starts. That’s where I come in. My job is to help narrow everything down and match people with the kind of trip that actually fits them instead of sending them into an endless spiral of research.

Over the years, I’ve built a business around relationships, trust, and firsthand experience. I don’t just recommend places because they look good online. I recommend destinations, resorts, cruises, and experiences I’ve personally explored and partners I know and trust. That experience allows me to help travelers avoid expensive mistakes and focus on what really matters: creating a trip they’ll be excited about from start to finish.

Hosted group travel has become one of my favorite parts of what we do at 2 Getaway Travel. There’s something special about bringing people together through music, shared experiences, great food, beaches, and unforgettable moments. Watching people arrive as strangers and leave as friends is something I never get tired of seeing. Those trips create memories and connections that last far beyond the vacation itself.

I also love helping travelers plan milestone experiences that feel meaningful and worth celebrating. Some trips are about reconnecting with family and friends. Some are about slowing down and enjoying life a little more.
