About Me

I am an Alaska Travel Agent Expert. I have been planning and booking unforgettable trips to Alaska for over 20 years. I love the ruggedness and beauty and abundant wildlife of Alaska. The state has no shortage of incredible travel activities and attractions for first-time visitors. From cruising through pristine fjords to exploring dramatic landscapes, you’ll find this state is an awe-inspiring destination..  To make your Alaska trip even more memorable, you’ll want to use the services of a travel agent professional - someone who can ensure your trip to Alaska is perfect. That is why I encourage you to contact me. I can take care of all the details for your trip. So, where would you like to go? What would you like to see? The top three cities in Alaska for tourists are Anchorage, Juneau, and Ketchikan. Let’s say you set your sights on Juneau for your travel hub. From there, I can plan some fantastic adventures. Not only can you cruise to Juenau’s port, you can stay in the capital city during your Alaskan holiday.  Juneau is a gateway to Mother Nature, so you can visit the city and gain access to attractions like the Mendenhall Glacier and Glacier Bay National Park. You can also reach the Tracy Arm Fjord from this locale. This port town (with around 30,000 residents) no longer trades furs or depends on whaling, but is fueled by outdoor enthusiasts - visitors who want to take part in the Alaskan experience. It’s also great to book travel to Anchorage - a great place to see flowers in the summer. Alaska’s largest city, which once featured tents for housing, now is home to about 40% of Alaska's residents. It also highlights about 80,000 flowers during the warmer months. You can also see the northern lights during other times of the year. If you go to Ketchikan, you’ll find plenty of totem poles on the south tip of the state’s Inside Passage. So, if you want to explore Alaska’s indigenous culture, this is the place to see.  You’ll also find it a great place to go fishing. I can arrange a fishing charter in this self-proclaimed “salmon capital.” The area is also covered in a plush and dense rainforest, great for viewing from a floatplane or during a tour by boat. Other Reasons to Visit Alaska Below are more top travel attractions and activities to add to your Alaskan travel itinerary. 1. Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve A visit to Alaska wouldn't be complete without witnessing the mesmerizing beauty of its glaciers. At Glacier Bay National Park and Preserve, you can admire gigantic glaciers calving into the bay, cruise through magnificent fjords, and marvel at the picturesque surrounding landscapes. The area is also home to a diverse array of wildlife, including sea otters, humpback whales, and numerous bird species. 2. Denali National Park Stretching over six million acres of unspoiled wilderness, Denali National Park presents ample opportunity for adventure-seekers. The park is renowned for Mount Denali – the highest peak in North America – which offers breathtaking views of untouched nature below. With various hiking trails available, you can explore diverse terrains and appreciate the region's diverse flora and fauna. 3. Take a scenic train ride Alaska's scenic railways provide an unforgettable journey through picturesque landscapes. Hop aboard the Alaska Railroad for unparalleled views of lush forests, pristine rivers, towering mountains, and expansive glaciers as you travel between popular destinations such as Anchorage and Fairbanks. 4. Visit Katmai National Park to see the bears Witnessing Alaskan brown bears in their natural habitat is a once-in-a-lifetime experience that shouldn't be missed during your visit. Home to one of the largest concentrations of brown bears in the world, Katmai National Park offers guided excursions to see these mighty creatures up close as they fish for salmon during the summer months. 5. Discover the local cuisine After a day of exploring Alaska's breathtaking scenery, recharge with some delicious local dishes. King crab legs, synonymous with Alaskan cuisine, are a must-try. These succulent crustaceans can be enjoyed at many seafood restaurants throughout the state.  Similarly, wild Alaskan salmon is a delectable treat that should not be missed. To really immerse yourself in local flavors, be sure to sample the indigenous dish akutaq, also known as Eskimo ice cream – a unique blend of berries, whipped fat, and sugar. Alaska is a destination that offers an abundance of experiences for visitors of all ages. From exploring jaw-dropping natural attractions to immersing yourself in the region's culinary specialties, you'll undoubtedly create some lasting memories. I am ready to serve as your Alaska travel agent advisor. Give me a call today and let’s start planning an unforgettable adventure.

Germany trip and Bayern Munich game
Reviewed By Daniel - San Francisco CA | Traveled to Germany ~ Europe
The travel services John provided for our 12 day trip from California to Germany were exceptional.

The purpose of the trip was to visit Germany for the first time and take my son to his first professional German soccer game in Munich to see Bayern Munich.

John arranged outstanding tickets for the soccer game, excellent hotel accommodations, transportation, and day trips to tour the sites we wanted to see. Service was impeccable.

Many thanks!
I would recommend this agent to my family and friends.

John was amazing and so helpful. All we knew is we wanted to go somewhere on a beach that would be all inclusive. John was very patient and was a great listener and he sent us several options in different countries that we could choose from for our trip. Once we made our decision on our destination, John set everything up for us from start to finish. We cannot thank him enough for making our trip one of the most memorable vacations we have ever had.
