I have found myself as of late saying to people that "Music is my Birth Gift and Travel is my Passion." As you can tell by the statement, I am a recording artist and music is still very much an intriguing part of my life. However, it is not as fascinating to me as Travel. Travel and the Travel industry is my source of existence. It seems I cannot breathe without it; it has become my all time life support system. I have been in the industry since 1997 (Wow, that's a long time) and I still feel like I am just becoming a part of something awesome. I have worked on GSA government contracts with some high profile military individuals. I have moved the Coast Guard Band and Softball Teams across this great land of ours, and I have also written deportation tickets for Immigration I.C.E., formerly known in the past as INS. Boy, what a touchy subject. I've worked on College, Universities and Corporate accounts, and was given the opportunity to work with Tavis Smiley (Radio and Television personality) on his personal business travel account with Lawton's Travel Service in Hampton, Virginia. But the best part of all of this, is the relationships that have been created over the years with the people who see the world from a different view when it comes to our great industry. I chose Honeymoons as a Niche in the Leisure part of our industry for the sole purpose of developing long lasting meaningful relationships with the people I serve. The people who I know will become friends over time and not just another customer. The relationship begins with a consummation trip and develops overtime into a lifetime of travel experiences worthy of a second look and word of mouth recommendations. I booked my own Honeymoon to Clearwater Beach, Florida and ended up on Treasure Island. An experience I use to sell the White Sandy beaches of the Florida Gulf Coast. I have stayed in the Southernmost House in Key West, Florida. It has become a staple in my renderings of places to go for a tranquil and romantic get away this side of the Atlantic. I'm from the tropics, I was born and raised on the twin islands of Trinidad and Tobago West Indies, and personally no waters are more beautiful than the waters of the Caribbean Sea. I have been to Barbados, Bimini and Freeport, but nothing compares to home. I love the travel industry because I get to sell a piece of geography for a period of time to those who are looking for travel dreams to become reality.
