I joined the travel industry and launched ILLUMINATION VACATIONS to help families, couples, and groups spend more time enjoying the FUN parts of travel and less time searching online, trying to figure out what "deals" are good, and being frustrated by the overwhelming task of planning their dream vacations.
I visit the Hawaiian Islands as often as possible from my home in California. While I'm there, I tour resorts and participate in local experiences so I can give offer first-hand advice and insider tips to clients. The aloha spirit is a real thing, and I can't get enough of it!
I also have expertise in premium all-inclusive vacations in Mexico and the Caribbean. I am a Certified Club Med Great Advisor and a Certified Sandals Specialist. I love helping couples enjoy the romance and luxury of Mexico and the Caribbean.

When a Foodie and a Travel Junkie Fall in Love
I'm a foodie who enjoys engaging with a destination and its people through their food and drinks, like kangaroo burgers in Sydney or kava in Fiji. My husband is a travel junkie. He's off touring Angkor Wat this week, probably researching the next big adventure from his hotel in Siem Reap.
So, what happened when we got together in 2008? Well, we ended up being the couple who'd rather visit Barbados and enjoy a Bajan food festival than worry about our house or cars. If you come to visit us, you'll probably enjoy Honduran baleadas like those we ate in Roatan, but be prepared to ignore the guest room carpet that badly needs replacing. If you're like us, you probably won't mind. And hey, bring pics from your own travels! We'd love to see them.
