Warm Weather Beach Vacations 

Where do you prefer to vacation… beach, mountains, rainforest, or a national park? For me, it’s always escaping to the beach. As a Minnesotan, I need to get away during the cold winter months. I’ve traveled to Mexico and the Caribbean several times and really enjoy staying at all-inclusive resorts. I’ve experienced both adults-only and family-friendly resorts, and together we can decide which resort style is best for you based on who you’re traveling with.

Jamaica is another favorite destination of mine. The ocean waves are calm, the water is beautiful shades of blue, and there’s no shortage of things to do. From visiting Dunn’s River Falls and ziplining through the rainforest to taking a catamaran cruise along Seven Mile Beach or stopping at Rick’s Cafe after watching cliff jumpers, it’s a great mix of relaxation and adventure.

I also highly recommend visiting St. Thomas and St. John in the U.S. Virgin Islands. These islands are incredible for snorkeling — some of the best I’ve experienced. The ocean water is warm and clear, and there are beaches where you can walk right in and swim with sea turtles.

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that all-inclusive resorts are not created equal.
