Hi! 

I am Janice Eckert.  I have a passion for travel and have been blessed to have opportunities to do so in both my personal and professional lives.  Before becoming a travel agent in 2022, I worked in locations around the world including England, India, Canada, and several states across the U.S.  As a mother of five I spent many hours planning out spring trips and summer vacation adventures with my husband and family.  Whether we were packing the car for an epic road trip or hopping on a plane to Europe, Ireland, Hawaii, Belize, or one of the many states in the U.S. we were exploring, it was always an adventure that resulted in memories to last a lifetime. Growing up in the suburbs of Boston I spent many hours exploring the historic sites of New England where my passion for all things historic took root.  I LOVE visiting historic places and particularly love exploring historic homes and buildings of any kind.  When not traveling, I enjoy researching new locations as possible destinations for our next trip, spending time with family and friends, spending time with my horses and dogs, meeting new people, writing, hiking, playing games, and reading.  Becoming a travel agent seemed like a natural fit and a good use of my project management skills and the pleasure I get organizing things.  I see each trip that I book as a mini project with a great project plan, aka itinerary, and a chance to meet and work with some great people.  My goal for each trip is to provide an itinerary that suits the needs of the client and exceeds their expectations.
