In 1984, I put college on hold and took a travel course, and never looked back. I started my travel career in a back storage closet filing brochures! From there I made it to the first desk in a full-service agency, as the only agent selling both leisure and corporate travel.  Then in 1995 the floor fell out from beneath me...Airline commission cuts! What was the future of the Travel Agency as we knew it? On the heels of that, came the Internet frenzy.

As fate would have it, a side gig as a Banquet Manager turned into a Catering Sales Manager position. While keeping my hand in travel, my mindset became Events. On maternity leave with my daughter the idea came to me to combine two careers and WA-LA, At Your Service Events & Travel, LLC, was born in 1998. I now had a background in Travel, Weddings, and Events, so it seemed only natural when travel resurfaced with a bang – for me to come back as a full time Romance and Celebration Travel Specialist, my passion was hand stamped and my focus has been life cycle events ever since. Destination Weddings, Honeymoons, Vow Renewals and Celebrations are my specialty.

I am a Certified Sandals Specialist, with over 77 bookings at Sandals and Beaches Resorts, an AMResorts Master Agent which now falls under the World of Hyatt Inclusive Collection, a preferred partner with Playa Resorts, I hold a Bachelor of Education with Royal Caribbean International Cruise Line and have earned a Certificate as a Bahamas Romance Specialist from the Bahamas Tourist Board. I have been honored with the 2023 BEST OF WEDDINGS from The Knot and the 2023 COUPLES CHOICE AWARDS from Wedding Wire.
