The best travel planning experience I’ve ever had, Elana goes above and beyond to ease any travel anxiety I had. Not only is she kind and patient but she also put in a ton of effort. I can best describe blue raven experience with one particular part of my trip—bear/bare with me…. I was at the dinner of a wedding when I learned the wedding party and guests staying at our designated hotel we’re leaving the following morning. I had booked an extra night because I thought everyone would stay, and this place was beyond remote. So remote taxi drivers would decline us because they didn’t want to make the trek through the forest. With this hotel being so remote I had no WiFi and there was no realistic way for me to get food if I were to stay after the wedding party left. The hotel albeit great—had no food but provided kitchen access, however it takes about 25 mins to get out of the forest. Ok so now that you know how remote this is, back to the wedding night. Elana booked a wonderful All-Inclusive trip to Costa Rica for my daughter and I! We had the best time and got to spend so much quality time together! Morocco has been on my list of once in a lifetime spots to visit. It became a possibility when Elana Christiansen posted this trip! This was my first time to the continent of Africa and I hope not the last. This trip was life altering in so many ways. It challenged me, inspired me, humbled me, and enlightened me. The Moroccan people are spirited, generous, and hospitable souls. From the trip to the Sahara, to the unending gorgeous textiles, to my first Hammam experience, I am grateful for ALL of it! Elana was a pleasure to work with…she made my experience stress free. She was able to answer every question I had in a very timely manner and also offered so much additional information, that there were actually very few questions I had to ask. My daughter and I traveled to Punta Cana on a budget and Elana was able to accommodate our request with a few different wonderful options…and even found us an ocean view room that I did not think was possible! Elana made the process for my daughter and I flawless…she made sure we signed everything and were making our payment on a timely manner to secure our room. She even sent us a list of excursions that were offered in the area. She sent our itinerary and sent us step by step details of where to go once we departed our plane to ensure our safety and safe arrival to our resort. I appreciated her attention to detail, and because of that, our trip went very smooth.

I can’t recommend Elana enough. Her attention to detail and availability with any questions or concerns we had while planning AND while on our trip was really something! She was able to create and plan experiences for us abs there’s no way we could’ve done this on our own. Age really thought of every detail. We’re definitely working with her again. I traveled with Elana to Peru. We visited some of the most amazing places. Places that most tourists don't see based on the volume of traffic at our locations. Of course, the highlight was visiting Machu Picchu but really all of our stops were amazing. The trip was non-stop and very complex with drivers and cars, airline in country, train tickets, as well as add-on adventures. The entire trip was seamless and so enjoyable to know Elana had control of our activities. Highly recommend booking with Elana and Blue Raven Travel. Communication was excellent and I felt very prepared for my first solo adventure and first trip to South America. Booking again soon!

If you're starting to get in vacation mode and need help with planning I want to give a huge shoutout for Elana Christiansen at Blue Raven Travel. She has helped plan our Cancun vacation this past June. Not an easy task to coordinate 11 people (3 families) we are going with my parents and my sister and her family. So finding the perfect resort, dates, price etc… was not an easy job and Elana went above and beyond answering many questions and including travel insurance and our activities. She is amazing. Very detail oriented and so helpful from beginning to end!
