Alaska glacier tour by helicopter

 In June 2023, I explored the extraordinary landscapes and charming frontier ports of Alaska — a journey filled with dramatic glaciers, rich cultural history, and unforgettable wildlife encounters.

My itinerary included iconic destinations such as Juneau, Ketchikan, Sitka, Glacier Bay, Icy Strait Point, Victoria, and the breathtaking Inside Passage.Some of my favorite moments came from unique, locally rooted experiences. In Juneau, I indulged in fresh King Crab legs at the famous Tracy’s Crab Shack before taking a spectacular helicopter flight that landed on two pristine glaciers — a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to stand on ancient ice surrounded by sweeping mountain peaks. In Ketchikan, I enjoyed a private tour at the Hump Island Oyster Company, where I sampled freshly harvested oysters and learned firsthand how this small family-operated business farms some of the region’s finest shellfish.
