Destination Weddings and Honeymoon Expert

I attended the University of Northern Colorado.  Where I got my degree in Recreation Tourism and Hospitality with the idea of being a wedding planner. I always loved the wedding world and I was able to achieve this goal shortly after graduating in 2020. 

There is so much when it comes to weddings, all the details, the planning that goes in it. I’ve been tied to the wedding world for the last 6 years!

Now I wasn't always just a wedding florist. I started in the wedding industry as a Bridal consultant, I loved being able to help brides feel the best they could on their wedding day. I worked my way up to managing that store by my 3rd year of being there.

Form there I knew I wanted to be in the wedding world for a long time, during this time I started to coordinate weddings for family friends, and some of my brides form the bridal shop. About 2 years in I got a job as an assistant wedding coordinator at a venue. I enjoyed coordinating the whole event, but the long hours got to me.

I ended up having a friend let me know about the flower job I am in now, and I instantly feel in love. I love how you can be so creative with it and yet every wedding is different.

So how does this all fit travel? I use all my skills that I have learned from the wedding world, and carry them over to the things I’m doing for travel. Being in the wedding world, you learn how to think fast on your feet but still pay attention to detail. In all my jobs I learned how to keep your clients in mind with ever decision.
